Last week was Valentine’s Day for most of the countries that celebrate this modern Western holiday, which was apparently hyped up by the companies that sell stuff associated with romance. One of those items is an engagement ring, the bling bling symbol of an impending lifelong commitment in matrimony. K-actress Park Min Young spent her Valentine’s Day week in Taipei for the Tiffany’s True engagement ring event promoting the brand’s new line. She eschewed red, too festive and lunar new year associated color, going in a simple white dress. For once it’s a white dress that doesn’t look like a bridal gown and Park Min Young looked fresh and fantastic as the white contrasted with her long dark brown hair and simple makeup.
