I guess hair cutting as a fresh start signifier isn’t just for the ladies after a breakup, in this case K-actor Yoo Seung Ho is returning to a look he sported when he enlisted for military service years ago and trying it on again now years older. He looks great, there is an energy and focus in these new pictures he posted on his just opened official Instagram account, a savvy move to broaden his presence online with social media being one of the broadest ways for a star to connect with audiences. He just finished a drama recently, yet another unfortunately poorly written drama with the sageuk Moonshine (Thinking of the Moon When the Flowers Bloom) which had an interesting concept about Joseon era prohibition but was woefully executed all around. I’m not in a rush for him to quickly pick another project with new agency YG Entertainment as I think a measured selection could yield the right next role for him.

Chouette , une francophone, ça fait des années que j’écris des commentaires chez Koala , en anglais . Et mon anglais n’est pas terrible ( date des années lycée) ! Et oui moi aussi j’aime cette nouvelle coupe . C’est un acteur que je suis depuis 2009, et j’ai hâte de le voir dans des rôles joués en ce moment par d’autres jeunes acteurs qui n’ont pas son cv . C’est dommage . En 2012 ,il avait atteint une popularité grâce à son rôle dans I miss you . l’après service militaire n’a pas été aussi réussi que prévu .
He looks good. He just needs one good drama pick and I hope he chooses wisely. Don’t have any faith in YG Entertainment to help him in that regard, so I hope he’s able to carve out a notable path for himself.

I remember there was a discussion on this site about his career and how he needs a career reboot and a makeover that will make him look more mature, and I guess this is it because he does look long and lean in these pics, unlike before where he looked short (well, he IS quite short, but styling can make people look taller, as evidenced in these pics lol), wide, and rather plump. He looks refreshed now and I like the styling so much ?
Like the comment above said, all he needs now is a good drama choice, and he’ll be back in GP’s radar again. Best of luck to him!

I think he chose wisely in terms of agency, YG may not be so great in management when it comes to their kpop groups these past years but they do greatly in terms of managing their Actors and actresses, almost all of them act in dramas that become extremely popular and all of them alsp have great images. He suits YG in terms of acting.
