Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won Find Love Again After a Marriage Crisis in New Posters and Preview for tvN Drama Queen of Tears

Okay, this latest full trailer (with English subs below) has fully sold me on upcoming tvN drama Queen of Tears. This weekend cannot arrive fast enough for the premiere! The latest posters and new preview explain how a couple from different background fell in love (for reals!) and got their happily ever after fairytale wedding, only to not stay in love during the marriage for probably differing personality reasons that only come out after living together. Poor Kim Soo Hyun is so overcome with emotion all the time lol and wifey Kim Ji Won is like this refined robot but we know they were once in love and I can’t wait for them to hit rock bottom and then figure out how to make love work again in a marriage.

  1. It gives me Our Beloved Summer vibes. I.e. couple who grow distant over misunderstandings and lack of communication, they mature and learn how to be a better partner to each other. I’m into it and can’t wait to watch. In fact now i want to rewatch OBS too.

  2. Omgah, these two are at their best doing drama! Haha. With the inclusion of the denser scenes, it finally feels like it just might be a complete story telling.

On a side note, I always hate that point in a book or a show when they actually get together lol–because the tension fades so dramatically often–that I dip out of a story, so to have tension back in a love story to eventually, hopefully, reach a happy ending looks fun.

On a side side note, NO, I do not wish strife on real life couples just for kicks and giggles. Haha.

  3. Aw this is fresh to me. I’ve never watched KSH in comedic moments with goofy looks. He always appeared super smart and powerful. Nonetheless, I hope this drama isn’t just a pure romcom that may be boring to me. Like Dr. Slump had too much focus on the relationship between the OTP and too much screen time for slow individual shows while the story went a bit stale and a drag until it took off with a turn recently. I hope this drama won’t be like DS that is a bit disappointing.

    • He truly does! I’m so excited. He’s one of the young and pretty/handsome Kdrama actors who’s like a chameleon to me. He can become any character, and act them flawlessly in my opinion, without his pretty face getting in the way. Kind of like Jung Hae In, though KSH has definitely been in the game longer.

And pairing with Kim Ji Won?! They can’t go wrong.
