Kim Sae Ron’s Family Files Lawsuit Against Youtuber Lee Jin Ho for Defamation and Harassment and Plans to Sue Kim Soo Hyun Unless He Admits to Dating Kim Sae Ron When She was a Minor and Apologizes for the Denial Lies
When a tourniquet keeps tightening at a point something is going to give and it’s looking more and more like top actor Kim Soo Hyun will not be able to sustain the claim that he dated now deceased actress Kim Sae Ron after she legally became an adult in 2019. Her family has filed a lawsuit against Youtuber Lee Jin Ho for defamation and harassment, the lawyer for the family held a press conference today before delivering the lawsuit to court – the allegations are Lee Jin Ho posted videos claiming Kim Sae Ron posted the picture with Kim Soo Hyun last year during Queen of Tears to attention seek, he said she lacked a proper upbringing by growing up at filming sets, and mocked her trying to work at a cafe after her DUI. The family said Lee Jin Ho even called them after she died as the family was preparing for the funeral to harass them. Afterwards he set all his videos to private. The family is furious and has decided to sue him first, but also demands that Kim Soo Hyun admit he dated Kim Sae Ron starting in 2015 when she was a minor otherwise they will sue him as well for lying and making her out to be a crazy person in denying the relationship.
New pictures have emerged of Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron taking a selfie outside his residence building (the backdrop as evidence), picture of Kim Soo Hyun’s from the back washing dishes while pants-less at her apartment (he’s likely wearing boxers but still shows the intimacy level), and a picture from Kim Sae Ron’s secondary IG account from 2017 which shows a man that looks like Kim Soo Hyun next to her as they are entering her apartment and his red puffer coat has been sourced by K-netizens as from the Beanpole late fall 2014/early winter 2015 collection gifted to Kim Soo Hyun and he wore that winter as the spokesperson for the brand. The family also revealed that Gold Medalist sent a second certified legal demand letter to Kim Sae Ron demanding repayment again and also warning her not to contact anyone at the agency or release any more intimate pictures, the family did not know about this second letter until they found it in her belongings after her death and they were sorting her things. This second letter requested she provide a repayment plan since she mentioned financial difficulties. This would be okay, but for GM stating earlier they only sent one letter and that was a formality for their accounting purposes and they wrote off the debt and never intended for her to actually repay it. And finally, Kim Sae Ron’s family has revealed she kept a very detailed diary including the six years of their relationship from Nov 2015 to July 2021.
Wow well guess the situation won’t de-escalate like he hoped. Time will tell how this all unfolds. Crazy stuff. If true dude and his agency are mad crazy for letting things unfold this way. Shows their character to be scummy for sure. Whether the family are great people or not, all I can feel is sad for the deceased actress. I hope they handle things without dragging the actress through the mud like let this girl rest in peace. But at the same time if he and his agency did some wrong here I hope they learn and earn the consequences if it all turns to be true. But will he admit it though? Like really admit it for what it is alleged to be? I’m not so sure.
This second legal letter is the nail in the coffin. No one will believe anything he or his agency says anymore. How could one be so cruel to someone you were intimate with for so long? And how could they lie in broad daylight when they know that there is a ton of evidence against them? And he has loads of money himself.
Funny thing is that his Taiwan event and fan meeting for March 31 is still on. He is rumored to be paid 100,000 US dollars for attending this event (not including the fan meeting), which is a music festival featuring a number of older, has-been singers that have little name recognition. Seems like he is really interested in making money in whatever way he could. A lot of the Chinese brands he endorses are online micro-businesses that are not well-known either.
He is trying to milk the overseas market as much as he can. This was scheduled last year I believe. He could be testing the water and see how some overseas fans react and if the attendance is still good, then he may feel he still has value and will continue attending events as if nothing has happened.
1. I never like Kim soo Hyun much since a few years ago when I came across an old article / video about marrying a girl half his age.
2. I dunno much about KSR but prior to this tragedy, I always have the impression that she is sweet, innocent and fragile. When she posted the picture, I assumed it was taken during a party and didn’t think much about it. I didn’t know why there was such a terrible backlash. Now I know it was manipulated to shame her.
2. New evidences appear to prove that he groomed her when he was in his late 20s and she was still in middle/high school. Whether it’s legal or not during that time, it’s still icky.
3. The best is for Kim Soo Hyun to admit and apologize. He had cruelly ignored her during her most difficult period.
4. His agency really proved to be heartless and incompetent in handling Kim Sae Ron before and after her car incident. No words can describe how despicable they are in threatening and pushing a vulnerable young actress to a point of no return.
6. Something should be done to minimise penalties for sponsorship contracts. Although it’s understood that the brands had spent a lot to promote an artiste but they did gain something from the artiste too prior to any mistakes or misconducts.
7. Laws should also be amended or to accommodate cyber bullying. It’s a harsh world out there, more so for entertainers out there.

It was when the actress post a pic of her and that pdfile back when Queen of Tears was still airing. And then she wrote about how it’s heartbreaking that she passed away blah blah. She also wrote a couple of articles about KSR which are not pleasant at the very least. I don’t think koala is simply updating for the news when it is all about her OPINION. Such a hypocrite 🙄

Why are men so set on teens? I’ll explain the irony of KRS being groomed by KSH. Men like KSH are not just in love with young, pretty, half developed firm bodies. They are even more attracted to undeveloped brains of the teenagers. Because they themselves stopped developing emotionally around 18 years of age. It’s called Peter Pan syndrome. So they see teens as their emotional equals and relate to them much better than women their own age. That’s like 40% of men. Most of them don’t groom teenagers, of course. They make fine husbands and fathers. Many women who marry them later on don’t realize it because they usually meet these guys later in life, not in high school. I’ve watched KSH since 2014 and he strikes me as an infantile guy. Not stupid, infantile men can be geniuses, just immature. Imagine being influenced by such a guy from 15 years old. What good or moral things could the poor girl learn from him. Probably her family wasn’t a big help in her moral and general education either. That’s what we are seeing now, the results of two immature people getting together then falling out. Looks like KSH is a bigger moron out of the two. He also seems to be a very narcissistic and vengeful man. Such man shouldn’t have the unchecked power over people’s lives and finances, but here we are.

Kim Soo Hyun is a control freak, he admit it himself in interviews and those that worked with him mentioned it. he is perfectionist, thus will retake many takes if he is not happy with his own takes. He is known to be OCD too…he likes cleanliness.

I think people started immerse to hard into it. Yeah, they have intimate relationship, we all get that, I think majority of us guessed it before that photo. But why we need to see details of that?

To be honest I don’t care much what they’re doing with KSH, as what they’re doing with KSR.
KSH rich and has lawyers. If turns out they don’t have a single proof of them dating in 2016, I think he can win lawsuit against them. They posting photos, and people making speculations about that, but what they’re really need to post is metadata of this photos. This information should be on KSR phone. But of course they’re not posting that, it’s not so fun and entertainment for audience, as posting more details about their relationship, so people could talk and talk. If Garo Sero have proofs of them dating in 2016, or if he won’t sue them, when I don’t care what will happen to him, as I think not suing them on such controversy is very weird.
What I care is, what they’re doing with KSR. KSR is dead, she couldn’t defend herself against journalists when she was alive, the more she can’t do it now.

I have very little respect to Garo Sero because of their reputation and what they did to some other celebrities, now I started to feel disgust. They’re milking KSR tragedy, they’re using her, and I don’t think they care about her.
If she had more explicit video or photo on her phone, I wouldn’t be surprised to see how they selling it to someone or posting it for more likes and views.
I think it would be better if parents posted video and photos from KSR phone themselves, without Garo Sero help, as whatever they’re doing right now is not out of respect for KSR.

Maybe it may sound like they are milking their scandal but the family probably knows what kind of people Garo Sero is before they went to him and they probably gave him the consent to release all these pics and let him represent them and do all the talk in any way to get the message across.

Given the fact that KSH has power over all the media channels in South Korea, there was no other way to get KSR’s side of the story to be told. Even now, I don’t see any major media outlets reporting anything other than the official statements by GM. The parents said that they tried with the usual avenues but were turned down flat. GaroSero was the only one willing to give their story air time. So I am applauding GaroSero for their gutsy move. The family has already said they want a public apology from KSH. Thus far, his side is just back pedaling and trying desperately to cover their tracks. That personal letter in 2018 and his photos from his army days to her was enough to convince me that their relationship started prior to 2017 when he entered active service. Sent as a good friend? Nah. What business has he to be a “good friend” of a minor? Saying stuff like “I love you”, “I miss you” and using her pet name? That’s just creepy grooming. She stated in her personal statement (which she never released) that their relationship started in 2015 and ended in 2021. She has her diary detailing their relationship from those years. I believe her side of the story. Even if the “official stance” by KSH and GM is that they only “dated” from 2019-2020. They were obviously “unofficially” in an exclusive relationship prior to 2017 when he entered the army.

You said it yourself. Your main evidences of their relationship is KSH letter from 2018 and his photos from army days. The same, as 3 text messages from 2018, revealed in the last video, has more proofs of something shady, than video from Kim Sae Ron’s apartment, when we all know she got this apartment in 2020, there’s only Kim Sae Ron’s face on that video, and Kim Sae Ron was used for weird thumbnail. Many people, netizens as well, questioning that thumbnail, the point of releasing that video, and the way Garo Sero milking that scandal.
They posting multiple photos of them together, and continuing to do so, while all they need to do now, is to post metadata when this photos were made, for people to stop to speculate.
Garo Sero made a good thing by exposing KSH, but it doesn’t mean the way they using Kim Sae Ron is normal and what they can’t be criticised. Even parents said themselves, they went to Garo Sero but because they didn’t have other options, not because they’re good journalists. Yes, it’s good Garo Sero said about KSH, but this channel not much better than youtuber Lee Jin Ho, with whom KSR parents suing. They bullied female celebrities, they were sued multiple times, they just bullied female blogger a month ago, by spreading info about her getting abort (she sued them for defamation. I don’t know if info they spread about her is true or not, and this isn’t matter, they didn’t have the right to spread such info about her at the first place).

@Olesya1 I agree with you. Poor KSR is still being used by the adults and media around her. If the parents have these pictures and proof that they dated, I don’t see why they can’t directly sue the YouTuber. KSH should be exposed, but they can do it more respectfully to KSR. That thumbnail is really weird. This poor girl is still being exploited after her death.
I really think the country could have forgiven him for grooming and dating a minor since they only recently changed the age of consent from 13 to 16 and the awareness of grooming had been quite low. But now this whole thing has taught a lot of people what grooming is and why it’s bad. His lying is really pissing everyone off and exposing predatory behavior that a lot of people can understand, even if they don’t quite understand what grooming is.
