Li Hong Yi and Sun Zhenni Find Love in the Spiritual World in Xianxia C-drama Blossom in Darkness
With all the talk of C-actor Zhang Wan Yi being typecast and looking almost exactly the same visually in costume and hair in his last four period dramas, the same can be said for the ladies side with Sun Zhenni. Her next drama to come is the xianxia romance Blossom in Darkness (Chinese title 十万狂花入梦来 or Hundred Thousand Flowers in Dreams Come) with male lead Li Hong Yi and I swear she basically air dropped into this drama from her last xianxia romance The Blossoming Love with Zhang Bin Bin. And she also played very similar vibe spiritual power female demon character in Til the End of the Moon as well. I like her a lot but she could use a break from xianxias after this. As for Blossom in Darkness, I do wish the visuals were less dripping in red and blood and flowers but at least it’s picked a theme and is sticking with it.
I know neither of them. But aren’t dramas posters like theirshowcases? I don’t know what they wanted to achive by designing such a poster but, no offense, the ML really looks dumb in the picture above.
As much I like wuxia I dislike xianxia (expect for few classics). I really miss the time when Jianghu and Wulin were in the spotlight.
The first picture is edited weird. Almost did not recognize the male lead. The second picture seems more like him. What were they thinking?
Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter
