Kim Woo Bin is the New Spokesperson for Shabu All Day as Kim Soo Hyun’s Cancelled Brands Start Moving On
Like all scandals, time leads to dwindling interest especially as the matters at hand is parked in the legal justice system and outside the peering eyes of the public. K-actor Kim Soo Hyun and his scandal in Feb/March 2025 around allegations that he dated/started dating deceased actress Kim Sae Ron when she was still an underage minor mushroomed into a huge entertainment industry issue. What followed was his side/her side dueling allegations, new reveals, and multiple lawsuits all of which are still wending its way through the system. His big budget K-drama Knock-Off had part 1 shelved by Disney+ from an impending premiere date and filming stopped on the remaining amounts to be completed. And he lost nearly all his nearly two dozen endorsements. One of them was dining chain Shabu All Day which revealed its new spokesperson this week with a new ad campaign featuring Kim Woo Bin. At least it was newly filmed instead of AI face swapped lol. And hopefully advertisers learn to better vet its brand endorsers after yet another reminder that public image and personal real life doesn’t always align and is a landmine if revealed.
Personal opinion, but I find KWB much more attractive than KSH anyway. Hope he continues to maintain his health!

He is a very well suited spokesperson. Very well chosen. Regardless Kim Soo Hyun had a scandal or not… Kim Woo Bin would be the best idol to pick for this brand.
If advertisers are looking for a “Mr Nice Guy” with a squeaky clean rep, it’s certainly hard to go past KWB.

@imzouun, I saw his fans rejoicing on some Garo petition law that got 50k signatures and allkpop articles over how he stayed in number one on some sort of star ranking beating out Lee Jun ho and BWS and articles about the Public starting to support him ?
Love both these guys one is not better than the other. With the Korean society nothing will last because humans are not perfect they will move you out as fast as they moved you in. Happy for Kim woo-bin while it last.
