Song Zu Er Reported for Tax Evasion Again by the Same Tipster Requesting Another Investigation
This will likely not derail Song Zu Er‘s resurrected career again but it is clear that the person targeting her has a beef that’s not going away. C-ent is reporting that the same tipster who reported her for tax evasion two years ago is back and reporting her again for continuing tax evasion. During the first investigation, her side did have to pay additional taxes but not all supplemental tax payments equate to intentional tax evasion, sometimes it’s miscalculation, negligence, or even oversight. While its been confirmed she did owe additional taxes in the first investigation, but her side said it was not intentional and has been paid, and with her headlining two big IP dramas those investors went to bat for her so she was not cancelled the same way Deng Lun was cancelled. Industry chatter is that even with this new tip off, any investigation will likely not find anything cancellable as she fixed the problem in order to return, and if she wasn’t cancelled the first time around it’s going to be harder to get her cancelled now the second time around. However, there is word that a big IP drama Ah Zhi Ah Zhi that was in talks with her is backing off just in case something happens.

Ah Zhi Ah Zhi was only a rumor, Song Zuer was never in talks to do it since Tencent has originally rejected it, no platform is willing to take it because of its heavy content of Japanese aggression whitewashing. It has high probability of being banned from broadcast.
The people who reported her again are the couple who managed her career when she was a child actor. They took all her earnings as child actress. SZE has long terminated her contract with them and even went to court several times but they always lose the appeal. They still want to take commissions on all of SZE’s projects and endorsements. They are using the same tactic from 2 years ago, comdemn her by public trial.

No family ties, their name is Yang Jun and Song Min, they keep harassing SZE because they want her to renew her contract with them. Their contract was terminated in 2013 before SZE went to study in US. They first went to court in 2018 for contract dispute, claims by former agent was dismissed. Subsequently re-appealed in 2019 and 2021 but all got dismissed. Then they reported SZE of tax evasion in 2023. She was cleared of tax evasion in August 2024, and her studio released a statement that she’s never been subjected to any administrative penalty fees. The same month they spread rumors that SZE faked the credentials to take gaokao test, which her studio denied and cited that Minitry of Education verified her credentials and found no problem in them. October 2024 the couple applied for review of the tax audit on Song Zuer as they were dissatisfied with the result. November 2024 they reported her again of tax evasion same content as previous, December 2024 applied for extenson of review. April 2025 they sued Beijing Tax Bureau. September 2025 they reported SZE again for tax evasion, leaked her bank details and bought black social media accounts to spread rumors about her. This is days before SZE was announced as Valentino Beauty’s new endorser. They really want to destroy her, i hope SZE can sue them even if they are in the US.

Can she report the tipster for harassment? And seek an injunction? Because it looks like it. Leave her alone. She’s one of those rare young c actress who can act so well.
I guess she will sue this time because now they also leaked her identification card and bank account details. But i don’t know how their law works because the couple (former manager) who keep reporting her fled to the US. They went all out to ruin Zuer again, few days before the announcement of her Valentino Beauty endorsement.
Surely she can afford a better accountant so that she is above reproach.
I honestly feel so sorry for Song Zuer. She has been wrong time and time again by this couple, even lost two years due to false allegations. These people are true criminals. I hope she could sue them but of course, they’re hiding out in the US, so it’ll be tough. She is a very good actress so I hope nothing touches her in the next 15 years.
