This postponement isn’t anything to be alarmed by but is worth noting in case fans were expecting it to drop sooner than it now will. K-drama Love Doctor with Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo will now air in October 2026 rather than the original August time slot in the summer. The delay is due to the filming schedule now being longer than expected, and I’m all for taking the time to make the product better rather than rushing anything. The drama about the healing romance between a former athlete turned robotics doctoral student and a fashion design student transferred into mechanical engineering will air on cable channel ENA and comes from the PD of Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food, One Spring Night, and Secret Love Affair with the screenwriter of Full House and Attic Cat.
As a KSH fan anticipating this, I agree with Koala that it’s better for production to take their time and end up with a quality drama instead of rushing only for it to end up a sh*tty drama.
And based from the BTS pics I’ve seen, the drama looks like it’s going to have a cozy vibe, so I think airing it during fall season would be perfect.
Not a fan of the male lead, I think he’s side eye-worthy when considering the scandals he’d been involved in, but obviously, he’s not Kim Soo Hyun-level of evil criminal, so I’ll still watch the drama, mostly for my girl and because I also like the PD’s previous works
There is some misinformation in this article. The filming already ended on Feb 28. The drama was moved to October to match the season it was filmed in. It’s a F/W drama so it won’t be aired in Summer to avoid being out of place. Maybe please correct the post accordingly. The filming was completed in 3 months became Ahn Pan Seok is known to film very quickly.
Ok, I can imagine how the PD will tell this romance per his style. Not his fan, but I think the products under his names are quality works.
