Two Future Ha Young Dramas with The Long Shot Trial with Lee Je Hoon and Trauma Code: Heroes on Call 2 with Joo Ji Hyun at Risk After Pro-Japanese Ancestor Scandal — 9 Comments

  1. If she donates a bunch of money and she sincerely apologizes again, this will all be under the rug. Also, Korean netizens will move on to the next big drama and entirely put their focus on that.

  2. S Korean and Netizens can hate on an her all they want. Fashion brands and marketing companies can choose to not work with her. But cast members and production team of her finished projects should not be punished along side her.

  3. First time I heard and seen of this actress, I like her strong looks and charisma.
Too bad that it seems that she brought this woe on herself, but if she is good enough to rise to the top, it would have been outed anyway.

  4. She should just admit that she is clueless about her family history, hate the family history, apologise. Thats all. But I dont see any comment from her since the scandal or did I miss it. Hmmmm…

    • She has done the handwritten apology thing. The timing of this is also terrible because National Liberation Day in Korea was just 2 days ago. And her company screwed up the PR. It’s almost like the fates are working against her. Or maybe it’s some weird karmic retribution against the entire lineage.

Maybe she can go to Jeon Hyo-sung route and study korean history and pass some certification for it as an expression of sincerity. Ha-young has a great screen presence and I was looking forward to seeing her in Trauma Code 2.

  5. This is how things go when a nation turns left: netizens pick on petty issues to distract from an economy going south. High household debt is crushing domestic consumer spending and driving up real estate risks, mirroring China’s situation. Relying strictly on a memory chip shortage will not reverse these toxic market trends.

  6. Yes, k-netz are toxic, but I’d say this vitriol against her is pretty valid, since she brought it on herself with her ignorance and humble-bragging. Since she’s a woman and is not yet a top Hallyu star, I don’t think she can fully recover from this scandal, unlike a Song Hye Kyo or a Han So Hee and even with those 2, it took a while for them to get back into the public’s good graces.
