Thank you Disney+, you’re definitely doing the drama gods work and giving us fans a surprise treat. Today the platform released the first teaser posters of five K-dramas that will be airing either at the end of 2024 or sometime in 2025. Top of the heap for me is Knock Off with Kim Soo Hyun, I can’t wait for that one! The others include medical drama Hyper Knife with Park Eun Bin and Sol Kyung Go, mystery drama Nine Puzzles with Kim Da Mi and Son Seok Gu, Light Shop with Joo Ji Hoon and Park Bo Young, and police drama Trigger with Kim Hye Soo.
I really like soohyun’s mullet or long hair in the video teaser it’s actually suit him and give him different vibe.
I’m most looking forward to Knock Off too, but not liking Soo Hyun’s hair in the 3 sec teaser, nobody, no matter how good looking, looks good in a mullet. Hope it’s just for a short period. What happened to the drama with Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won? Wasn’t it supposed be on Disney+ too?
I’m personally looking forward MOST to Light Shop for the cast and the makers of Moving. That’s a must see. Also excited for Tempest/North Star which was surprisingly missing from the line up preview. Knock off is obviously the one I think mostly everyone’s excited about.
Not sure I love Kim Da-mi’s look in Nine Puzzles, but she always manages to change it up. KSH’s hair looks so-so (no strong opinions either way) but I am more so impressed at how he manages to have an entirely different vibe from whatever he had going on in QoT. It’s evident even in the few seconds we saw which is serious acting aura to me even as a neutral.
Disney is really the OTT to subscribe to if all these dramas live up the the massive expectations.
He looks veryyyy different from baek hyunwoo!!! I binged super recently so bhw is fresh in my mind. His hair is mostly the same other than the back part which is totally longer but he has a different feeling around him almost cunning like here?? Maybe I am projecting the story but that immediate feeling of a 180 character was so onthefaceobvious.
Wish we had PBY in here the poster. Why wasn’t she included? And why wasn’t there anything on North Star? Sometimes I feel like that drama is a myth with how we know absolutely nothing about it minus the 3 leads lolz.
Knockoff is my #1 most anticipated for next year too with NS. Liking KSH’s long hair at the back; fits the 90s era and the eventual bad boy turn
I was not expecting to get a look on Knock Off this early. It feels like it was just announced yesterday (although I guess if we were still in live shoot days, it would be airing rn LOL). Anyway, I’m. So. Excited. And 2025 cannot come sooner!
I have an opinion on everyone’s hair 🤣
– I adore Park Eun Bin and would watch her in almost anything but the hairstyle she chose wasn’t what I envisioned a genius doctor to have honestly. It looks… messy(?) Hope there’s a purpose to that.
– Kim Hye Soo, on the other hand, looks stunningly efficient. A++
– Kim Soo Hyun – I was expecting it to somehow be longer and crazier ala Rain in Full House but I’m so glad it’s believable but tame 🤣 KO is going to be huge, I just have that gut feeling.
– Kim Da Mi’s hair is giving me Itaewon Class flashbacks and that is decidedly NOT a +ive
– JJH and SSG well… they look EXACTLY like they always look. Literally no change at all from char to char 😂
Omygosh @Caro sorry I don’t know how my comment was published as a reply to yours 😅 it was meant to be just a sep comment
PEB’s hair looks dirty also haha. It does not look like the official poster – seems like a scene in the drama and the proper posters will be out closer to release. Her character from the description gave me the mad genius vibe so if that’s what they were aiming for, it sorta works.
And totally with you on Knock Off. I am not sure what about it makes me feel this way but it reminds me of how I felt about RR when it was first announced. Mega drama flag.
🤣🤣🤣The hairstyles stood out to me too! Worst for me is Kim Da mi. I like her but she looks like a schoolgirl with her facial expressions and this hair. I wonder if they are flashback scenes to when she was young. It’ definitely not giving criminal profiler.
@Caro
Same. I guess we have all gotten used to waiting well over a year to get a glimpse of announced dramas so seeing Knock off snippets mere weeks after it first started filming is such a whiplash lol.
Disney + have far more A lister signed on in their upcoming series than Neflix probably has in their fantasy casting at his point LOL. I am somehow not interested in any of these dramas other than Knock Off and Lighting Shop but the cast is so superb that all 5 dramas would very likely have an large audience for them.
The snippet video on insta did not make it clear that some of the dramas included were airing 2025. I screamed when I saw KSH/PEB thinking Knock off/Hyper knife were both airing in the next few months…
I don’t really care about the cast, Disney’s dramas were pretty disapointing. The Impossible Heir was really bad, Blood Free had an interesting plot with the meat and they changed it in something not interesting at all… A Shop for Killer was based on the stupid action of the ML.
Damn, Disney is really stepping up! Meanwhile, Netflix has gone downhill. Oh, how the tables have turned. Sukku 😍, but another thriller? Really? He says he wants to do romance but does the opposite. I love Dami too, so I’m super excited for this!
If you need further adjustments, feel free to ask!

Son Sukku filming in romance also, in a meloromance drama More beautiful than heaven with director of My liberation notes. He said in interview his schedule is packed until june of 2026 😳
I know it was only a few seconds but knock off looks sooooo goood!!!!!!
Isnt it Disney+ who doesnt want to produce Kdramas again? Now, they have a plenty dramas to be aired. Or different streaming platforms?
Anyways, will give all those dramas a try. But havent finished any kdramas lately.. more into Cdramas.
Yes, Disney was going to stop produce k-dramas, but then Moving happened, and they changed their mind
In an era where k-drama reach an over-supply state with lots of work are queuing for airtime, it amazes me how Knock Off managed to have a teaser published already since they just started filming literally last month.
Knock off officially started shooting since 16 July. Its already been two months and kim soo hyun started shooting from last month and may be it will air on first half of 2025 .
I mean, the teaser only shows KSH’s face who filmed only last month i just wanna emphasize those footages were obtained veery recently that’s why I’m surprised bout the teaser
True. Feels like D+ is banking on Knock Off to be their cash cow based on much marketing it is already getting. Each support cast got their own articles, special appearances were covered and dropping out/replacements of supporting characters got articles. Good to see them making an effort. Hope to see it for the other dramas too.
I’ve been on a business trip and missed out on all the fun when the promos of all these dramas came out. Looking forward to most of next year’s batch particularly. For this year, I’m more excited for the non-OTT dramas: Jeong Nyeon, Fiery Priest 2
