There is a new C-drama casting that is making waves and aptly the drama title is about a boat and a crossing. C-ent industry insiders are saying that Dylan Wang and Zhao Lu Si are in talks for period C-drama Why Not Cross By Boat (何不同舟渡 He Bu Tong Zhou Du). This casting is legit and not a melon, but currently both have received scripts and offers but whether one or both accept is still too early to know. Insiders think it’s possible to make this pairing happen but then it will be a slog to deal with the billing position and also their very respectively very vocal fandoms. It sucks there are external factors that could stymy potentially great casting choices these days, I would love to see these two in a drama together.
There’s 0 news about this on Douban so doubt it’s real. Fake plus they both are popular enough to helm their own projects, Dylan is more popular and Lusi is very insistent on 一番 so her MLs tend to be old uncles or young nugus who don’t mind play 2nd fiddle in the billing.
I saw them sitting together on weibo night. If this one were true, i wish for Bailu and Tanjianci too. A thriller crime mystery drama will do.
