Park Bo Gum Gets Two Covers for the 30th Anniversary Edition of Cine21 Magazine
I totally know who should play the Korean version of Superman/Clark Kent if there was ever a K-version. K-actor Park Bo Gum delivered the perfect normal nerdy guy and intense good boy dual covers for the 30th anniversary edition of Cine21 Magazine that makes me wish Korea could do their own superhero movies. He’s kinda pulling the same double duty in just premiered jTBC drama Good Boy, where he’s a great boxer but struggles in real life with all the politics and grey that isn’t there in the clean cut win-lose dichotomy of sports. I’m glad his 2025 is off to such a strong start with both this drama and the Netflix mega hit When Life Gives You Tangerines, and he actually came close to winning the Baeksang Best Actor in drama vote so the future remains so bright for this shining talent.

Agree the covers are very Superman / Clark Kent coded but herethe “Clark Kent” cover has the S curl rather than the “Superman” cover. He looks handsome in both looks.
It’s so impressive that PBG is coming back after a freaking five year drama hiatus and his popularity hasn’t waned at all. Starring in back to back hit dramas, presenting a popular variety show and hosting huge award and music shows and loads of endorsements.
I have been critical of some of his acting choices but no denying he is talented and a superstar.
