Zhao Lu Si Continues Her Livestreams By Dropping More Allegations Against Her Agency and Also Selling Out of Her Outfits and Jewelry
C-netizens are right, this is the must see TV of the summer and it’s just a sad state of affairs all around to get to this point. C-actress Zhao Lu Si is dominating C-ent search and buzz after she went public with an SNS post demanding a termination of her contract and revealing all sorts of allegations of bad behavior and bad faith actions from her agency. She’s then held multiple live streams on Weibo basically one a day where she chats way about life, answers fan questions, and drops more tea on her agency all in a highly watched display of taking back control in her own words. Netizens love what they are seeing to the degree her dress and jewelry immediately was identified and then promptly sold out online. Some netizens think she has a future being an influencer and direct sales celebrity if this actress thing doesn’t continue. Zhao Lu Si shared more tidbits such as her agency locking her in a hotel room and bringing in a shaman to exorcise the demons or curse out of her when she fell ill last December, and that her filming The Last Immortal was awful (she got COVID and hives), including not being able to go back to see her dad when he got a cancer diagnosis or her ill grandfather and she only saw her dad next at her grandfather’s funeral. She clearly wants out of this agency and regardless of whether her allegations are true/somewhat true/not really true it doesn’t even matter anymore, both sides need to negotiate a termination.
Hope she files the contract termination lawsuit soon.
She will need proof the agency treated her badly… otherwise, it may be hard.

Sure, terminate the contract with a 10 million USD penalty. There should be an exit clause in any contract.
It is ridiculous to go to the internet; ZLS, go to your lawyer. If everyone could just go to the court of public pressure to break a contract, what is the use of contract law? If the management company did something illegal, go to the police. Doesn’t China have laws to govern? The government will shutdown her social media accounts for causing too much ruckus.

I think most people think she doesn’t have much grounds to go through legal channels which is why she is trying to mobilize the public, which honestly seems like it’s not working well. Its been 8 months of drama. People are just sick of being bombarded by her negative energy.

I’ll tell you why she doesnt sue: even she will win in an end, she wont be allowed to work several years, till the final resolution is released, exactly like in SWL’s case. If SWL trial took 2 years, her trial will be obviously longer. She is under an exclusive contract for the next 4 years, her company signs all her contracts with brands or production teams. If they wont change their strategy, her activity will be frozen for the next 4 years anyway. So, if she sues or not she wont work. But if KU will want to let her pay that fee, she’ll be free immediately. A trial is the worst option for her.
Sell the bird. You can likely get $20,000 to contribute to the break clause penalty.

I posted 2 posts about her in X and her fans burnt me very well. Was rather crispy in the end. My wotd were torn apart and analysed. I mean instead of dragging this through court of public opinion, which makes it so much messy drama and making her a difficult to be hired for future work when competition and better talent out there, she should leave it to her lawyers for contractual dispute whilst if there was abuse, go to the police and finally seek therapy for her emotional well being. Basically that and her fans didn’t like that I said directors, difficult to hire, find lawyer, get therapy… anyway I forgot how intense c fabdoms are. I did say I support her actions but at some point she should stop with the back and forth and just sue. Get away from ghe drama instead of building her case With the media. If she has the evidence, she wins. If she doesnt she pays penalty to break the contract. That’s all I said. Anyway cant win with fandoms these days. I totally agree. Her fans are voyeurs. Right now she is too hot a risk for brands or productions. Her streaming only shows her unravelling emotionally. The agency will also have a huge buyout clause. However, renewing Her contract is Her choice. Regrets does not make a good legal case. As for the cheating money, she can pay for a court order for an independent audit or ask for 3rd party invoices. I find this way to be rather childish. I am sure saying these will get me as roasted as you!
