C-actor Xu Kai’s Cheating and Gambling Allegations Scandal Blows Over as He’s Spotted Arriving in Hengdian Studios on the Set of Period C-drama Ting Feng Ling with Wei Zhe Ming
In a double bout of good timing for him and the allegations being overall not as serious to the government authorities as C-actor Xu Kai dodging the biggest negative press in his career. Last month in September an ex-girlfriend alleged that he cheated on her with same agency actress Zhao Qing, and then later it was alleged that he ran an underground (and illegal in China) poker card game gambling ring out of his residence in Hendian Studios during drama filming. Initially he was removed from his upcoming to film C-drama Ting Feng Ling leaving co-male lead Wei Zhi Ming in place, and the production was planning to replace him maybe with Deng Wei. But his scandal was pushed down with the death of C-actor Yu Meng Long and the myriad of theories surrounding the how and why. So this week he was spotted arriving at Hendian to the production set of Ting Feng Ling, all but confirming that he’s not been replaced after all and the drama is slated to start filming October 15th with the original two male leads.
It’s difficult to prove he was gambling with friends and colleagues based on just one person’s words, I guess.
Now we know his outcome… His fans will be so happy.

And what about Zhao Qing? I would hate it if she got all the blame for this – I think she did pretty well in Immortal Ascension, not to mention the backlash she must have gotten in her personal life (ex. parents…) because of this. I don’t care about Xu Kai but that woman, his ex girlfriend or fwb, surely messed up another woman’s life.

The only ‘crime’ was the gambling related activities And, presumably, the authorities have been satisfied.
The other stuff took place between consenting adults. Hopefully, that Xu Kai is back filming is a good sign that actors and actresses will be seen as human, with/allowed actual relationships/sex lives that many around the world take for granted. At least that’s what I hope. Doubtful though.
