I love that K-dramas went here twenty years ago in Coffee Prince already, and now we get a CP worthy follow up where the cross-dressing female lead can pass for a very good looking flower boy metrosexual young man. tvN has on deck next month the K-drama Love in Disguise where Im Shi Wan plays a chaebol heir under suspicion of murder and capable detective Seol In Ah goes undercover as his new male secretary to investigate. It’s funny that the two looks genuinely look alike since Im Shi Wan is a pretty boy himself and Seol In Ah turned into a dude even in the best of days looks insanely handsome pretty. Everything will hinge on these two bringing the faux homo-erotic chemistry, and with the success of so many BL shows and dramas in recent years this might even bridge the gap between fans of BL shows and regular fans preferring hetero-romances. The first teaser really leans hard into cultivating a throbbing energy between them.
