There have been a few script readings recently but with this new addition comes the reminder that viewing trends are changing and cable may have been the new thing a few years past but now it’s onward to online dramas. The cast of internet drama Cinderella and Four Knights attended the script reading, looking as cheerful and focused can be despite being in what could be a fluffy lightweight fare. I don’t need my dramas to be substantial inasmuch as I like it when dramas understand its origins and don’t try to be something its not. A cute manhwa-adaptated drama like Cinderella and Four Knights should continue being adorable and even silly without repercussion, what matters is great cast chemistry and characters that are likable. If the story ends up being unexpectedly solid then that’ll be a bonus. I adore female lead Park So Dam and the four knights appear decently cast with Jung Il Woo, Ahn Jae Hyun, Lee Jung Shin, and Choi Min.
Directing is the PD behind Secret Garden, A Gentleman’s Dignity, and Lie to Me, while adapting the source material will be a pair of newbie screenwriters but I’m not terribly concerned since all I’m looking for is not bad acting paired with some fun and sweet manhwa type romance.
Wait this is an online drama or web drama? 😕
I thought that this drama will air on SBS.
Last time I read a reliable source, it said they were still looking for a broadcasting channel and are completely pre producing the drama. But I have no idea how it suddenly became a webdrama. I’m sure it’s not tbh.
I’m pretty sure you’re right, and don’t think it’s a webdrama and they have yet to secure a broadcasting station. It’s supposedly supposed to be 20 episodes and fully pre-produced.
Is it normal to just go ahead and start producing a drama without a broadcaster? I feel like this is the first time I’ve heard of something likes this happening lol.
I read on weibo that it will air on Sbs? ??
Why there is no naeun shoot…i curious becos of jung il wo n son naeun…plz son naen shoot
I have to be wary of anything Jung Il Woo nowadays his last 2-3 dramas were cringeworthy at best. Hopefully this won’t suck.
Ummm, I don’t know about these four knights… Ahn Jae Hyun! Hahaha… And Choi Min’s acting was cringe-worthy in My Dear Cat.
