There’s so much bad news, or at least it feels that way, so I appreciate low key sincere life living from a celebrity who could be as ostentatious as he wants. Top Hallyu actor Kim Soo Hyun enlisted for his mandatory military service today, with no publicity as his agency stated beforehand. He posted an SNS update to his fans before enlisting, and reportedly spent the last two weeks with no activities and spending the time with family and friends. He’s enlisting for active duty rather than desk or civil duty and I can’t wait to see him pull a Lee Seung Gi, go from boy to man with lots of positive attitude and hard work. Good luck to Kim Soo Hyun in the military and excited for him to take his career back on the upswing once he returns in 2019.

He’s already a man a long time ago in my eyes haha. I’m happy he’s so sincerely good and that he doesn’t just do things to show off. He didn’t talk much about enlistment and when he did, he went so quietly that it makes him even more admirable. I’m so proud of him!
