Basketball Player James Ma Gets Married in Taipei and Leaves Best Man Spot Empty for Best Friend Godfrey Gao Three Days After His Passing
Life is so unpredictable and the saddest of event could lead to the happiest in the span of mere days. Three days after Taiwanese-Canadian actor and model Godfrey Gao unexpected passed away while filming a C-variety show, his best friend basketball player James Ma got married in Taipei as life goes on. Godfrey was supposed to be the best man at the wedding and the two are well known in the industry for being best friends but with Godfrey’s passing just days before the wedding it still had to go on. James left a spot open in all the group pictures where Godfrey would have stood next to him as best man, and during the reception made a tribute to him. Congrats to the beautiful newlyweds and so much condolences continue to pour in to Godfrey’s friends and family on his passing as he was universally loved in the industry.
