Here we go again – time to gear up to follow another K-drama live. I’m getting too old for this. Or maybe I just don’t have the stamina anymore. It’s a mentally exhausting and emotionally draining experience where the rewards most oftentimes don’t outweigh the time investment. I’m actually hoping 49 Days is just good and not great, because then I can watch it without getting too hung up.

It’s a week before the wedding, and Ji Hyun (Nam Gyu Ri) is busy creating an extraordinary wedding ceremony for herself. Ji Hyun, with her optimistic personality and her give-it-all attitude in preparing for the wedding, has one thing bothering her: Min Ho (Bae Soo Bin) has a good hoobae friend Han Kang (Jo Hyun Jae). Ji Hyun was high school classmates with Han Kang, and they broke up after a bad fight. Ten years later, she thinks Han Kang still dislikes her, and it makes her feel uncomfortable.
On the other hand, on the anniversary of her lover’s death, Yi Kyung (Lee Yo Won) arrives at the spot of where he died bearing flowers. She waits for a car to come and take away her own life. A gust of wind swirls by and the oncoming car brakes at the last minute, causing a chain reaction car accident. Ji Hyun just happens to drive by at that moment. In her panic, she turns her steering wheel hard, but her car’s fast speed causes her to hit another car.

The thing that really, really bugs me about Yi-kyung’s character right off the bat is that she would be so selfish as to try to get someone else to kill her, never thinking how that person would feel about killing someone. I mean, come on.
But otherwise, I’m excitedly waiting for the first episode in two days!
Wait, I thought JIW was playing LYW’s brother? Ahhhh my brain, it has to catch up ><

Haven’t watch any other k-drama since MP y DH finished… so i really really hope 49days won’t suck!! Still need a Monday/tuesday dorama!! Is anyone watching Midas?? Is it any good?? >.<
Just found out that Jung Il Wo is 23 (just like me *_*),I thought he was older!! Can't wait to see him as the sexy reaper!!

For one of “pretty boy” actor in SK, I considered his look and posture among the more mature than the others, say, for example Kim Bum, Song Jong Ki, Yoon Shi Yoon, Kim Soo Hyun which more in cute area. IMO he even look more mature than Lee Joon Ki, his counterpart for Iljimae, though Joon Ki 5 year older. That’s why he always get older actresses for his pair.
There are 3 dramas I have been dilly-dallying with..CS,Midas & Thorn Birds… but still am waiting for more subs before I start watching them!!
But I’m soooo excited over 49 Days that I’m willing to watch it RAW tomorrow!!!

I’m watching Thorn birds and I’m liking the drama very much but MIDAS I’m just reading recpas becoz I can’t find soft subs yet , at least not till last week’s epi but the drama seems very interresting 🙂
I’m also waiting for 49 days since a month or more now and I guess it’s gonna be worth watching too .
