Written Preview for Episode 8 of MoonSun

The written preview for episode 8 of The Moon that Embraces the Sun is out, and it sounds so exciting. The story quickly brings all the adult versions of the major characters back into each other’s orbit, allowing the story to continue to build on the premise laid out in the childhood episodes. Hwon has never forgotten Yeon Woo, and neither has Yang Myung. Yeon Woo has turned into Wol, a shaman without any memory of her past life, though Seol’s presence besides her ought to be a major hint in recognizing her. Yeom and Princess Minhwa are married but not yet bedded, a poor befuddled couple if ever there was one, with one side way more into the other. The next two episodes ought to reveal all the pertinent chemistry questions we have about the adult leads, and then we can all focus on watching the story keep getting better and better.

Written preview for episode 8:

The palanquin headed towards the city gates contains a smiling girl that is getting ready to open the door – the shaman Wol. Wol is the substitute for Nok Young, who refuses to return to the Palace to pray for the King’s health. Under the auspices of being Nok Young’s spiritual daughter, Wol is forcefully brought back to the Palace for the good of the people. During a brief commotion, Wol tries to run away but falls into trouble. At that time, she receives the aid of a learned master, who turns out to be Yang Myung in disguise. Yang Myung does not recognize Wol, so during the commotion, Yang Myung misses Yeon Wo, who is now a despondent Wol. On the otherhand, Wol has been brought into the Palace and is hurriedly sent to Hwon’s chambers as the shaman to absorb his ills.

  1. So it appears that Prince Myung will be the first one to see Wol but won’t recognize her. Thanks for much for the preview!

    • sorry I thought it was King Hwon who saw Wol first in the woods while he and Eun were out on checking the countryside people. even though i did not understand the koreans Hwon asked Eun to go back to where Wol was living and when he got there nobody was found and the house was in shambles.

  2. So happy with ep 7 and 8 previews because the story seems to be on the highway now and it’s going to be full of actions and plotting. Thanks Koala for the preview!

  3. Hey Mrs.Koala,
How come you haven’t written any recaps for “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” episodes 5-8? >.< I depend on your recaps!! Please write them when you have time! I always look forward to you superb summarization skills of all of your drama recaps! Thank you!!!

  4. yay! Wol & Hwon will meet…I’m sure with that kind of feelings…like a puzzle. I can’t wait.
Indeed, for those who knew Seol & find out she’s that Seol, might be curious of her relationship with Wol.
If Wol still keeps the “moon that embraces the sun” hair pin from Hwon, I’m guessing that much later that pin will be one of the strongest clue for Hwon to solve Wol’s puzzling identity. But for now I just want to enjoy The Moon…& anticipate & keep guessing what might be.
    Thank you.

  5. Ep 7 is so good .. but can’t understand the conversation Wol has with Hwon. Waiting for your re-cap Ms Koala…. checking every hour 🙂
