Written and Video Preview for Episode 5 of Prime Minister and I

My love for Lee Bum Soo continues to reach new heights with his droolworthy performance so far in Prime Minister and I. I also now love Yoona and find her just adorable and gorgeous. Her casual looks in this drama are so down-to-earth without being purposely fugly and her dressed up looks are to-die-for. She was an ethereal vision in her classy lace wedding dress, and I especially love how Yul called her out for wearing something so pretty as if he can’t handle her when she’s all dolled up. That sequined little black dress was jawdropping and the opening pink lace dress makes me wonder how her hubby can even let her out of the house lest men trip over themselves around her. I’m going to LOVE watching Yul fall for her while trying desperate not to and restrain himself. Even better is how forward Da Jung is, and I don’t mean in-your-face type of forward which passes for personality in some K-drama heroines. Da Jung is honest about both her wants and her weaknesses, and I’m hoping as she falls for Yul she’ll clue in him on her own struggles so they can navigate this strange marriage where they got married first and then fell in love. Who says there is anything wrong about that? In Ho needs to wait for another lifetime with Da Jung, and even then I’m giving Yul dibs. I just don’t see anything from In Ho that makes it even viable for me to care how he feels about Da Jung, whether its pity or attraction or a mixture of both. The written preview is out for episode 5 and I’m already giggling at how Yul reacts to the aftermath of the shut-his-lips kiss. Now that Da Jung got the first kiss in, my bet is on their next kiss coming from Yul. I can see him totally having to kiss in public and perhaps letting himself enjoy it and lying that he’s just playing a part. The driver and bodyguards continue to be such adorable side characters and the perfect cheerleaders for the romance of the OTP and are totally welcome since we don’t know In Ho’s full intentions or whether Hye Joo will continue to support Yul all the way.

Written preview for episode 5:

Kwon Yul’s lips are sealed with a kiss…..

Word of the kiss spreads due to the bodyguards. Yul calls the kiss sexual harassment and forbids any further body contact between him and Da Jung, but he can’t help but keep thinking about it. Yul orders Da Jung to destroy the marriage contract since there is a spy in the mansion but the current dictatorial Yul makes Da Jung decide to keep the contract but hide it away safely. The marriage is full speed ahead and Da Jung does everything she can as the wife even wearing a hanbok, but she nevertheless gets into one situation after another. Yul keeps yelling at Da Jung and In Ho feels bad when he sees this. Da Jung’s copy of the marriage contract vanishes and she goes to Joon Ki’s house to search for it……..

Written and Video Preview for Episode 5 of Prime Minister and I — 23 Comments

  1. I too am loving the oufits she wears when on prime minister’s wife duties. They’re mature, elegant, and sexy all in one.
The top half of the wedding dress reminds me of Princess Kate’s wedding dress minus the sweetheart neckline/v-neck. Makes da jung look like a gorgeous princess.

Every week they know to give us juicy bits in the previews and it’s got me all excited looking forward to next week already. This OTP was just meant to be!

  2. What?! WHAT?! What are they saaaaaayiiiiiing? Why did he lock the door? Haha

It’s dramas like these that make me self-study Hangul but I’m still so far from understanding previews without subs.

I will just translate that last part as: “Let’s have fun sexy times, tonight, Wifey.” *locks the door*

    😀

  3. I love watching Lee Beom Soo’s facial expressions enough for me to call them “LBS reacts.” He’s awesome. Yoona is a revelation. TPMAI hits all the right spots in the rom com department and I’m loving it. Hello captain, it’s nice to be back here at the playground.

  4. Yoona surely looks pretty with her natural and easy make up and thankfully the drama is not trying to show us that she is not beautiful….

by the way, I also love the background music which is played during PM’s scenes….a piano piece I think…. 🙂

    • I totally watched the first 4 episodes again, this time taking notes so I could get the character names straight. It’s all the classic signs of a crack drama for me.

  5. Whoa Yoona looks so effin gorgeous in the first pic!

Hmmm it’s interesting how I’ve encountered way too many people saying that they thought she’s pretty but nothing to write home about, pleasant in the eye but ordinary looking. Basic, in short. I was like that too. But then BAM! there’s this one moment we’d find her absolutely gorgeous and stunning (adorable, too!), and then we just can’t unsee it haha. That first pic might be my eye opener if I haven’t find her gorgeous yet lol.

Anyway, I’m so excited for the next episode! I hope to see more of the bodyguards and the driver cheering for our OTP. Already cackling at Yul calling the kiss a sexual harassment and then can’t stop thinking about it lol. The scene where In-ho hugs Dajung… ack they look so good together I’d ship them so hard if it’s in another drama.

    • I was really struck by Yoona’s beauty in PM&I. I don’t usually pay much attention to the women, looking at all those handsome Korean men, but she really is outstanding. I think it is half the bubbly character that makes her so attractive to me. I just REALLY, REALLY like Dajung.

In contrast, Miss Korea after one episode has me disliking the cigarette girl. My Love from Another Star has a pretty actress, but I’m not capticated. Pretty Man’s Bo Tong is adorable too, but Yoona is my top pick of currently airing dramas.

      • I am almost ashamed to admit i never found Jun Ji Hyun very beautiful. Compared to other celebrated beauties like Song Hye Kyo,Kim Tae Hee ,Son Je Jin and Shin Minah, she is really not that great.

From the young generation of actresses i thin Yoona ,Go Ara and Lee Yeon Hee are the most beautiful.

  6. Lee Bum Soo is so good at his craft. I am so surprised by Yoona’s performance, good for her! This and Empress Ki is taking up all my drama watching time.

  7. I can almost guess that this contract marriage will be exposed and this will be one of the obstacles they’ll have to go through.

  8. Dear, have you watched Miss Korea it is tremendously great. Better 100% than Mr president here. Acting for this year for SM artist has grown simultaneously!

  9. what about the preview from episode 5, that Da Jung-Yul-his secretaries come out from police car like prisoners ? *wondering is that only in Da Jung dreams / imagination * Hopefully it’s not real happened.

  10. I agree you with 100% koala… You just have the perfect words on how we will look forward on the development of the Yul and Da Jung relationship… Can’t hardly wait for the next episode tomorrow… It will surely be as exciting as the previous episode.
