There hasn’t been as many Taiwan celebrity weddings as there are in Korea, hence fewer pre-wedding star pictorials. Of course the over-the-top splendor and extravagance of Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan‘s wedding last year takes the cake for a long time to come, but some couples are less into fairy tales and more into sleek chic. Taiwanese stars Sunny Wang and Dominique Tsai are tying the knot on December 27th in Australia, her home country and the location for plenty of exquisite backdrops.
This couple dated and broke up, with both going on to other relationships but staying friends, only to find their way back together last year and making it a forever commitment. They are featured in the upcoming issue of Elle Taiwan in a wedding spread that I love for all the warm and tender BTS pictures even more than the glitzy official snaps. Congrats to Sunny and Dominique in finding their soulmates in each other, as both have candidly admitted that this relationship feels so right even when neither expected from each other.
Do people have English first names in Taiwan?
A lot of Taiwanese stars have both a Chinese name and an English name. Chinese stars, on the other hand, usually just have a Chinese name. Even if they do have an English name, their Chinese name is more popularly known/used.
A lot of Taiwanese stars do, but these two also grew up overseas (Dominique in Australia, Sunny in America) and they are both pretty westernised. I follow him on Instagram and it’s really sweet how openly affectionate he is, especially for a celebrity. They’re adorable.
Also, from what I read, I think he comes from a really wealthy family as well yet he seems pretty down to earth.
She’s hotness and he’s quite handsome. Nice photo shoot and congrats to them!
isnt this the guy that used to date rainie or am i mistaken him with someone else?
