Vincenzo Episode 14 Brings the Romantic Progression and the Heighted Stakes on Increasingly Convoluted Heists with Ratings of 11.258%
Oh my gosh, when I was typing the headline for this post it dawned on me that we only have 6 episodes left of Vincenzo. I feel like it was just yesterday that I started watching, wasn’t sure the drama was my cup of team, and now I’m in countdown mode. This drama has been the most entertaining for me in 2021 so far, not necessarily THE BEST (that would be Beyond Evil) but every second elicits genuine emotions from me. Episode 14 didn’t increase the body count but did increase the swoons. We got a mega-heist that finally brought the Bye Bye Balloon gang into the crew for realz as well as the OTP getting closer physically. The Babel baddies took a back seat to watching the Geumga gang plot and execute and everything thereafter was pure theatrical pleasure. We also learned new things to file away: President Cho is working with the non-corrupt Prosecutor, the weird Piano teacher is the hacker who programmed the basement where the gold and Guillotine file is hidden, and the mafia way is to never get in the middle of a family squabble because if you can help a family member betray another then your family member can one day betray file. I’m filing all of this away along with the more perfect “pretend kiss” since the “Game Over Kiss” and the “Cola Kiss”.

SJK is so good looking and his acting is superb. the kiss scene in Ep 14 was a big surprise, nicely done! Im really loving this drama, very entertaining, so congrats to the cast and crew
Beyond Evil? If I like the actors, I don’t really like the story. They lacked professionnal during pretty much all the story and there is no more surprise because everybody is shady… But at least, they didn’t make a brain transplant!
I think Mouse is awesome, brain transplant and all!! Still more surprises to come??
Beyond Evil saves my weekend entertainment line-up in terms of an engaging story, thank goodness. Mouse was neck to neck with BE in terms of my level of interest until they went with the brain transplant twist – I was hoping for a darker split personality disorder twist for LSG which I think is more challenging for him, but oh well, I still watch it. Back to BE, I wasn’t really keen to watch YJG since he still looks like a big kid to me even in HDL, but I think he has matured in this role. Vincenzo ranks third among these 3.
Vincenzo is a pure delight, Beyond evil good with SHIN HA KYUNG just love him since Brain and Yeo Jin Goo was already shining in Missing you ! Mouse entertaining with the brain transplant that i saw comming ! The only thing i miss is a good rom com or rommance ( Yoon Eun Hye + Kim Jae Wook ) but i’m waiting for Park Bo Young and SIG drama .
My takeaway from Vincenzo is the discovery of JYB!
Now I will go search for her other acting projects.

Her movies are even better! It’s a really dark movie so I advise you to watch it with caution (or not watch it at all if you’re not in a good place mentally), but if you’re up for it, you will be blown away by her acting in “After My Death”. She won a total of eleven film awards for that. We’re lucky cause her new movie Night in Paradise will be out on Friday! She has received nothing but praises for her portrayal, and if my memory serves me well, she was named “2020 Best Final Girl” in the 77th Venice Film Festival. I saw some Twitter people sharing it earlier. I’ll share with you a thread talking about her performance:)

Same! I knew her as the haunted friend from Be Melodramatic but she is a revelation in Vincenzo, I’m cheering for the rise of a great new female lead and I’m a fan now!
