Park Seo Joon and IU Wrap Filming for Soccer Themed K-movie Dream by the Director of Hit Movies Extreme Job and Twenty

Sports is a popular entertainment theme this year in K-ent, what with the Winter Olympics bringing forth lots of sports interest and recent hit drama Twenty One, Twenty Five making both fencing and sports news an interesting topic. It will be a good time to release Dream, the soccer themed movie that has been in production for what seems like forever, really just two years and this week confirmed that it’s finished filming. Starring Park Seo Joon and IU, the movie is the first project for Director Lee Byeong Hun who hit a grand slam with Extreme Job and also did other hit movies Twenty and Cheer Up, Mr. Lee. In Dream, Park Seo Joon plays a former national team soccer player who ends up coaching a team of misfits in the homeless world cup. It sounds like a twist on Shaolin Soccer with less kungfu and more heartfelt dreams come true.

  2. No wonder it was reported IU declined drama by CLOY writer. She’s got two movies- this and the one going to Cannes. They can only be good.
