There are plenty of K-dramas in the pipeline but not every project is high profile or big buzz. The upcoming K-drama adaptation of TW-drama Someday of One Day is both, it’s called Into Your Time and stars Jeon Yeo Bin, Ahn Hyo Seob, and Kang Hoon. Each is coming off a big breakthrough hit in their respective careers as the prior project right before this drama – Jeon Yeo Bin had Vincenzo, Ahn Hyo Seob benefited from A Business Proposal, and Kang Hoon held his own in The Red Sleeve Cuff. Its a conflation of high profile project and buzzy leads so a recipe for either right ingredient success or disappointing follow up. I pray for the former and it’s too early yet to tell until at least the previews come out, but this week a child actor posted pictures from the cast script reading and the three leads all happily posed with him so that’s so cute. I’m also loving how pretty the script reading room is with the hanging plants, indoor horticulture goals!
There are weird casting choices and this one is weird from both the leads itself…

I was in a drama drought and watched Someday or One Day without any expectations or not knowing too much about it. I don't really watch TW dramas, but it was a great choice. The 3 main leads blew me away with their phenomenal acting and the story line was close to perfect. Of course there was a few loop holes here and there, but overall, well done. Time-traveling dramas are tricky and it can either be done sloppy or well. Someday or One Day is one you don't want to skip out on. I'll probably give it a watch, but I'm hoping the Korean remake will be just as good in it's own fashion.
I really think the cast and PD will bring the quality. But even so, It's not guarantee this drama will be a hit. So Even if this drama it's not a hit, I will be just glad netflix choose this trio collaborating with my fav PD, it's just like a dreams come true. These trio really passionate with their craft, and if they bring previous acting performances into the table, It will be a treat. I Really wish the execution it's not similar but still the message is close to original. Or else, what's the point of make a remake if it's just a copy paste from the original?
No, JYB isn’t coming off Vincenzo before SOOD. She has another Netflix drama, Glitch, that is releasing this year.
@angskeet, what platform did you watch the TW version on?
It’s free on Viki.
Korean remake crew have big shoes to fill. Because TW version was that good, almost perfect in all aspects.
Yeo Bin is glowing!
Looking forward to seeing her in a drama again.
Thanks for sharing. I just saw on Twitter that based on the original post, the mother of the child actor was touched with how JYB also praised her son’s good voice. Based on that autograph, it seems JYB complimented the child actor as well. It was very sweet and thoughtful of her. Wishing this remake all the best
