Lee Do Hyun Discharged From the Military After Completing Mandatory Service
Yay, he’s back! But I don’t think there could be anyone happier to see Lee Do Hyun than his actress girlfriend Lim Ji Yeon lol. The actor completed his nearly two year long military service today and has been honorably discharged. I feel like he wasn’t away that long but that’s because last year during his service his pre-service completed movie Exhuma aired to amazing success and he got to take a vacation day to attend the Baeksang Awards last May as the movie won tons of awards and he took home Best New Actor (film) for his role in that movie. He’s also one of the few that have won Best New Actor in both the film and television category at the Baeksang, his TV side was for 18 Again. I’m excited to have him back and can’t wait for whatever movie/drama he picks up to resume his already thriving acting career.
This is one very promising actor that I’m rooting for the most. I’m so mesmerized by both his acting and charisma telling story after story. Big hit or small success or no buzz, I enjoyed ALL his dramas and presence on screen. PLZ stay vigilant and don’t have any scandals PLZ. At least he’s dating a woman older than he and that one particular risk (unspoken but everyone knows what I’m referring to) is not existent. lol
Welcome back, Lee Do Hyun! He’s the most passionate & trusted actor that I have ever been awed; a hot & sexy shaman-Exhuma, a faithful & loyal lover- Youth of May, a cold prosecutor and also an adorable & cuddly warm 7yr old child- The Good Bad Mother, a pathetic & yet loving 37yr old dad with his soul trapped in his teenager body- 18 Again, a charming & charismatic revenge partner- The Glory, a traumatized student & maths genius-Melancholia, a cool & pragmatic leader- Sweet Home S1, a young & handsome model- Death’s Game Ep4, an emotionless neohuman overloaded with cuteness- Sweet Home S3. Can’t wait for him to roll out his new projects that would surely be of high quality contents & top performances. I’m thankful that he has returned safely & is in his top form.
He was in so many visible projects during his absence. It hardly felt like he was gone. I recently watched Exhuma and it remains fresh in my memory. Well played, LDH! He’ll be able to pick up like he was never gone, unlike many of his predecessors.
