Return of Supreme Zaddy Mage Joo Sang Wook in Episode 17 of Alchemy of Souls Hopefully Reinvigorates the Plot in the Final 4-episode Arc

Its for my love of Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook, both the actress and actor as well as their characters here, that I have not forgotten about Alchemy of Souls in the one weekend hiatus in airing. It’s been two weeks now since the last time I watched an episode and honestly I did not miss it. Of course I had other deliciously satisfying dramas to watch during but it was mostly due to how lackluster the last few episodes have been. I want the fake Bu Yeon storyline to die already and for everyone to just band together and get rid of Jin Mu and fake Queen before figuring out how the soul-switched can exist in the world without bring total monsters. I’m pinning my hopes that the return of Joo Sang Wook as Lee Jae Wook’s dad kick starts actual plot development I care about so that the hiatus was worth the wait and the final 4-episodes brings back all the feels this drama delivered at the outset.

    • You people are so quick to criticize. There will always be slow parts to any drama. I absolutely love alchemy of souls. The two lead actors are great.
Be patience. The best is yet to come.
      Can’t wait for season 2.

  1. Tonight’s episode was so boring. I literally skipped many scenes. I expected more after seeing the trailer 2 weeks ago but it dragged so much in this episode. Hopefully tomorrow’s episode will be a better one. At least worth the 2 weeks hiatus.

  2. I am loving Alchemy of Souls and of course there’s no perfect anything. I actually missed the it and looked forward to its return. Actually episode 16 had me bent because episode 17 had me wondering if Seol got petrified. Of course we will see the fight in episode 18 and it’s outcome.

  3. Im routing on this..
    I love the sequence story..
More power for the actors and actresses .
Keep making on good kdramas and movies .
    We enjoy filipinos😊😊

  4. I love “Alchemy of souls”, the highs and the lows! It’s all good and it’s going to get better! What did I do while waiting during their week break?…I just watched it from the very beginning again. It’s amazing how we tend to miss certain parts of the story when you watch it a second time! 👍🏻🤗
