K-actress Han So Hee Stuns in Exquisite Strapless Moss Green Gown at the British Fashion Awards as a Spokesperson for Charlotte Tillsbury

K-actress Han So Hee broke out in a big way with The World of the Married despite playing the eternally hated mistress character and since then she’s really validating the praises on her star appeal. This week she is in London attending the British Fashion Awards with the Charlotte Tillsbury brand as a spokesperson and she really wowed the global press. Her gown was exquisite, gorgeous and colorful and feminine, and her makeup and hair was perfectly done. With all the complaints about Korean actresses never going full ceremony with their safe gown choices at Korean awards shows, Han So Hee shows the impact when a star fully showcases her own top visuals.

K-actress Han So Hee Stuns in Exquisite Strapless Moss Green Gown at the British Fashion Awards as a Spokesperson for Charlotte Tillsbury — 16 Comments

  1. She looks stunning, that shade of green is really her colour, it sets off her complexion and features so beautifully.

(it’s always a nice change when a k-celeb wears a dress that isn’t back or white lol)

  2. she looks stunning, and that dress is a real winner.

such an interesting contrast on beauty standards around the world. she’s lighter than all the white women around her.

  3. I don’t know, maybe it’s just taste, but in my eyes the gown is not exquisite at all. The colour is pretty though, looks good for her skin, but still looks very simple. Like where’s the accessories? If she doesn’t want any accessories then choose more interesting fabric. Like Aishwarya Rai in Michael Cinco. That’s what I call exquisite. What I don’t understand is Korean actresses are more famous than Indian and Chinese actresses but they can’t bag sponsorships from designers like Zuhair Murad, Michael Cinco, Eli Saab, etc? There’s no way. Those designers will fight just for a chance to style a Korean celeb.

    • Korean celebs are not more popular than Indian movie stars. Just look at the number of insta followers of popular Indian celebs and compare that to popular Korean celebs. It’s just more trending. Chinese and indian entertainment industry can survive in their own country due to the population and how big both countries are. Korean content are good but they have to appeal to an international audience to survive. Thats why it’s more promoted than Indian or Chinese entertainment industry. Kdramas and k-pop might be popular in the US but indian cinema is way more popular in the Indian subcontinent and middle East where the population is much higher.

  4. She was ok in World of The Married? Abyss … but I found her face kind of disproportionate ‘odd shaped’ (maybe chin shaping PS angled cuts?) in the next drama I watched with Song Kang.
She’s probably being ‘packaged’ as the next Song Hae-kyo.

Ha Ji-won used to have the same effect.
Think in her case – it’s her hair-styles though which made her head flat, and so her face/chin angles looked jarring.
(Because in HJW’s latest drama – that impression I used to have, is now gone)

    • I totally agree – most of her pictures stand out to me because her chin totally throws her proportions off. That doesn’t come across in these pics because she really hits good angles here and reminds me of Liu Tao a bit. Very pretty and the dress is so lovely and feminine!

    • I agree about her not being the best actress nor have the most perfect face, but honestly, those things just make her rise even more impressive to me. Yes, she’s not the best actress, but even when I first saw her as the second female lead in 100 day my prince, I got this feeling like, this girl is made for leading roles. I guess that’s what they call the “it factor” at play lol
Regarding her face, she does have minor imperfections, but it’s impressive that she gives this impression of having a perfect face at first glance, and you’ll only notice the flaws later. Goals, to be honest lol

  5. That color complements her so well. Love the design of the bodice & full skirt. She looks beautiful in it! But who’s the gal with the fake boobs wearing the cheap looking dress? Lol, she shouldn’t have picked the spot next to HSH.

    • She’s not a good actress at all and incredibly overrated. She’s lucky there are not many actresses around her age with a similar packaging that can “compete” with her. And her agency capitalised well on wotm and put her everywhere

      • agree,I can say almost if not all kpop idols and kdrama actresses are a creations of Dr. Frankenstein thru cosmetic surgery. Han Hyo Joo is way far mòre beautiful than her.

  6. Me thinks she only stands out because of her fair complexion, it’s strange but undeniable how the eyes will always pick out the fairest of them all.
The gown color serves well to accentuate the skin contrast.
I love how she always look gorgeous, but with a bad ass vibes.
I also think she has become too thin. She is an action star, so she must have plenty of muscle tone, but they are not showing in recent pictures.

    • Agreed with the badass vibes. Wish K-ent would produce more stars like her: glamorous, badass, can be edgy and dark when needed. tired of the whole sweet, girl next door mold most k-actresses try to fit into (nothing wrong with that, by the way, just that I would love to see more glamour and goddess/top star aura from the current young k-actresses, a la jun ji hyun, kim hye soo, etc)

  7. agree,I can say almost if not all kpop idols and kdrama actresses are a creations of Dr. Frankenstein thru cosmetic surgery. Han Hyo Joo is way far mòre beautiful than her.
