This is certainly an ignominious list to be on but I don’t think anything mentioned here are deal breakers. K-ent beat reporters voted on the list of worst (most rude) stars on the press circuit this year in 2022 and there are some surprises. Topping the list with 20 votes is Ma Dong Seok, who didn’t do press for the movies The Roundup 2 and Men of Plastic despite starring in them and being a producer. Even worse is he released a question-answer statement that felt very perfunctory. Next is Kim Tae Ri with 11 votes for her actions during the press conference for movie Alienoid, she didn’t answer questions and seemed to be scribbling and doodling. She was branded having a “Na Dee Do” syndrome named after her Twenty Five, Twenty One character like she was a teenager inside. Third comes Nam Joo Hyuk for his movie Remember who got 6 votes for simply negatively impacting the movie with his bad press related to earlier bullying allegations.

Seems like someone has a lot of time on hands. This is a very pointless thing to do as journalists/entertainment reporters.
People on social media are defending them, but I think the reasons given are quite valid and are inappropriate in a professional setting. Afaik taking part in promotional activities are part of the actors’ job scope so not turning up for whatever reasons is irresponsible to the production team. As for KTR, that sounds like she was playing around too much. Actors seem quite serious during press cons so that was probably quite unprofessional. Welp, this won’t affect their careers either way.
Honestly the part about NJH is bull. Anyone can make allegations and say xyz bullied them back in HS. In most cases they are true and the person should be cancelled. But in NJH’s case, there was no proof, no back up of similar instances and something that just had to air to float it. So him being in the “rude” list when someone basically slandered him is just bs to me.
Kim Taeri is the most surprising for me. In her latest interview she was distracted, hyper and kind of loudly interacting with fans instead with reporters, but I never thought at the time that that was gonna become a controversy. She was just too over the place but never felt rudeness. I mean since then there has been a lot of gifs and videos of her jumping happily and screaming in premiers, do people still assume she’s the dignified aeshin character she played in mr. sunshine? Her real personality is more like Na Heedo and she gained tons of new fans because of this.
MDS does sound very rude and arrogant from that description. KTR sounds immature from that description. She might look young but she is 32 so should know how to behave more appropriately. NJH wasn’t actually being rude and had no control over what happened so his ranking seems unfair
