Having Reborn Rich end feels like a wild ride just finished and now I can wander around the amusement park and try new dramas. TVing fantasy supernatural horror drama Island is coming in two days on December 30th with its live action adaptation of a popular webtoon about a group fighting against an ancient evil on Jeju Island. I can make a joke about a tormented man, a rich girl, and an idol handsome priest walked into a bar…..haha just kidding, this trio does not seem to be there to crack laughs. New posters are out that show leads Kim Nam Gil, Lee Da Hee, Cha Eun Woo, and Sung Joon spliced with their webtoon original characters and the similarity is striking.
Lee Da Hee casting makes more sense now as I was not familiar with the webtoon. The resemblance is uncanny.

Thanks to Reborn Rich I refuse to watch any kdrama in real time in the future. The issue wasn’t just RR ending of course but I have finally reached my limit. This sounds good but I will wait to binge.
I can’t comment on acting yet but visually they look like spot-on casting. Sung Joon’s wig is questionable but I have noticed K-Drama just aren’t great with wigs in general
