New tvN Sat-Sun Rom-com Crash Course in Romance with Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho Start Off with 4.044% Ratings

With the ending of Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow the tvN Sat-Sun time slot is going for a light hearted modern rom-com to change up the pace. Taking over is Crash Course in Romance which I legit just forgot about as the casting was perplexing to me from the onset. Starring Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho, she’s doing a romance drama for the first time in nearly two decades since Lovers in Prague and while he’s a seasoned pro at rom-coms I just didn’t feel the two would spark onscreen. So it fell by the wayside but its here now and the first episode got an okay 4.044% ratings and seeing Jung Kyung Ho looking so fine and fly in the drama stills has piqued my interest to check it out.

  2. Those ratings are pretty low for its timeslot, but the first episode is decent imo. The plot is quite generic so far but I like it.

  3. I simply miss the male lead after his last drama. The first two episodes are wholesome though its plot is generic. Good start and cast especially the women’s guild.

  4. I liked the first 2 eps. I keep thinking that Jo Jung Suk would have been great as the ML, but I also like JKH from the Hospital Playlist, so I’m happy with this drama. Will keep watching!

  5. Enjoyed the first 2 eps. JKH is too skinny but he’s got sass in tis role. First time watching JDY. She looks much older than him, but i luv a gd noona romance.

  6. This is not the kind of role Jeon Do-yeon should be taking. At this point in her career, there is no point doing romcoms which are all fluff. She should be looking at dramas with good narratives, ideally female centric. I like JDY but this premise and pairing has zero appeal.
