I don’t know if its the height of stupidity or avarice, most likely both, that led murdered sociality Abby Choi’s ex-husband and his extended family to think they could kill her and get away with it. She’s not just a semi-famous figure in HK-ent society pages but she has a full family and husband family who would obviously note that she was missing and have the money to do anything to find her. Today was the First Seven (頭七) which is the 7th day of someone’s death and requires the family to summon back her soul for the start of the subsequent funeral rites and rituals. Her current husband, his parents (her in-laws), and her own parents together made their way to the crime scene murder apartment in the outskirts of Hong Kong to summon back her soul and spoke a bit with the gathered media reporters lamenting her death, leaving behind 4 kids with the youngest being only 3 years old, and the brutality of the murders and complete lack of humanity of the murderers. RIP to her and I hope the full weight of the law comes down on her murderers.
This shows her in-laws also cares about her. I cannot imagine how they are grieving.
Her ex in-laws reminds me of the in-laws in Unexpected Falling c-drama.
Her in-laws are so f. up. They must have been envied/hated her so much throughout the years, how could she not see that? Poor thing. She could have been so naive or I don’t know but I’ve read that she did not register her marriage with her new hubby, what the hell if it’s true. Poor kids.
This is heartbreaking….I can’t even imagine what her family and loved ones must be going through. May her soul find rest, and may her murderer get the punishment he deserves.
When she die,all her asset will go to her parents and kids since she didn’t register second marriage.since her two kids with ex husband are minor,the ex will gain control of the said estate on their behalf,ideally if they are not caught.

Such a barbaric killing of Abby Choi. Can’t believe people in a civilized society can do such gruesome crime. May her soul rest in peace. And may justice be served and those involved be jailed!
The ex-husband is the blame he should have amend his wrongdoings in the beginning. Such a sad moment when a gruesome murder like this one. But justice will be serve an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth when the times come.
