This movie might be the best comeback vehicle Kim Sun Ho after his rapid ascendance to leading man status was halted after his personal life messiness shed different light on his fandom’s push for him to be seen as the good boy type persona. The thriller K-movie The Childe (Sad Tropics) is scheduled for a June 2023 release and stars Kim Sun Ho as the mysterious Gentleman who seems intend on chasing down newcomer Kang Tae Joo playing a young boxer for nefarious purposes. There is creepy lurking plus action chasing and this type of setup K-movies does so well. I love the posters and the trailer is expertly cut so hopefully this movie delivers at the box office for everyone involved.

I’ve always felt KSH can do real well in villian roles. He’s such a versatile actor. I’m looking forward to watching this thriller.
