When I heard the title of this drama and the male lead in talks it just felt like a match made in heaven. K-actor Park Bo Gum is considering the lead role in an upcoming K-drama titled Good Boy. It’s about an Olympic level medal winning boxer who transitions into a police officer in the special forces/major crimes unit. He goes up against the morally corrupt and lawless world around him. The drama is from the PD of Monster and Bad Mom with the screenwriter of Aide and Life on Mars. With the time line being July now the drama is likely to air in 2024.
The plot and character sounds so good. It will be a good chance for bogum too. Hope he’s comfirming soon. He’s such a great actor he needs to stop taking mild characters.
