I swear that tvN drama Castaway Diva (Diva of the Deserted Island) was one of those still far away dramas but with the first teaser released this weekend it’s coming next month in October. That’s wild but not as wild as the premise that an island bumpkin girl gets lost on an even more deserted island for years and years but still retains her idol singing dreams and positivity. Park Eun Bin picked this drama after her runaway hit Extraordinary Attorney Woo and I think it’s something she can afford to do, taking risks on projects that sound far fetched on paper but could absolutely work with the right execution. That’s the beauty of books, movies, and TV shows, that it takes really out there stories and brings it to life in a way that connects with viewers and if Park Eun Bin can do anything with her eyes closed its acting in a way that connects with the heart of the viewer.
