Suzy and Lee Jin Wook Cast in Healing K-movie 7 O’clock Lunch for the Broken Hearted

A new K-movie is shaping up and two of the main trio of leads got announced this week. Suzy and Lee Jin Wook will be reuniting as onscreen costars for the movie 7 O’clock Lunch for the Broken Hearted. It depicts three heartbroken people who gather for lunch and exchange mementoes of their failed relationships with each other. Through reminiscing they find a way forward and form new connections. Suzy and Lee Jin Wook worked together quite recently in her last drama Doona! but didn’t have a romantic love line so thank god for that. Suzy is poised to have a big next 12 months what with Wonderland the sci-fi romance movie, then fantasy K-drama Everything Will Come True, and now this movie as well.

  1. I used to be indifferent towards Suzy but I’ve grown to like her. I think she has improved. No comments on the male lead (why is he everywhere…)

    • I used to found her beautiful . She stills pretty but lately she gives me a sad vibe as if she has lost her energetic vibe . She lost her unique aura that made her shine . Perhaps , is she more sophisticaded ?

      • She is not longer the young romantic woman who dated Lee Min-ho… I have to say many Korean artistes have such beautiful skin…wow.

      • I forgot that she dated Lee Min Ho , Lee Dong Wook and that she was part of Miss A . She never was my fav but i admire her as a young idol who achieved to become a popular actress since nearly 10 years now .

      • I am not her fan but her looks is still look good after all these year… more mature now. I find her acting is more relaxed now…not as self conscience of her she looks on camera.

  2. I didn’t know that Lee Jin Wook was so popular to be cast in already 2 dramas . I’m just saying it as a life fact , but life is unfair , some good actors aren’t getting offers when others are flooded with offers . A little of more diversity would be fair and appreciated . There is a saying in my country ” If you want, you can” nothing is more stupid philosophically . Better to say” If you want, you can TRY ” .

    • I don’t understand your comment. He is acting in dramas for 20 years and has 30+ dramas and movies under his belt. You say it’s unfair that he is casted in 2 dramas now?
I understand that you ask for more diversity. However, he’s not a shallow idol actor, who’s cast constantly just due to his looks.

      • @EJc, my comment is sarcastic , i know him very well since i’m watching dramas about 2 decades now , the 1st drama i watched with him was Smile again with Kim Hee Sun and Lee Dong Gun , what i wanted to say is that he didn’t have successful dramas but he is casted in 2 dramas in a row , worked with great actresses ( Ha Ji Won, Go Hyun Jung , Jung Yu mi ,Moon Chae Won…)despite having also a scandal, when actors of his generation as Kim Ji suk,Lee Dong Gun, Kim Jae Wook,… don’t get projects or lead roles. That’s all .

  3. LJW determined to be cast against all my favourites 😐 unless they plan on getting someone amazing for the other male lead, I’m out.

But yep, big year for Suzy ahead. Unsure on wonderland, but EWCT will surely be the other marquee drama of the year regardless on actual quality. I’m excited.

  4. Lee Jinwook’s biggest career move is moving to BH Ent. He gets cast everything with big actresses and marquee Netflix Originals plus they managed to clean up his image so well that he got cast in one of tvN’s most expensive kdramas though what a flop that ended up as.
