The success of Lovely Runner means it’s not only a summer to remember for male lead Byun Woo Seok but also female lead Kim Hye Yoon. She really deserved the hit under her belt and pulled her weight making the drama so beloved with viewers. She’s announced a fan meeting in Korea which is a given but her popularity also extends to Japan and she’s also announced two fan meeting stops there in Osaka and Yokohama. The “Hye-ppiness” tour kicks off in July and for now she’s still enjoying her rest including jetting off to Thailand this week for the cast and crew reward vacation for Lovely Runner.
She looks so naturally healthy, radiant with sunshine smiles. TBH, I don’t consider her counterpart in LR, the current hyped actor BWS, handsome cos he looks so plastic. LOL

LOL. It’s a legit comment about his looks. Many K actors look so similar to PS prototypes of nose and lip etc. He does look plastic to me and this is nothing to do with his acting that I think is fine. It’s an honest opinion about his looks. Fangirls can be obsessed with him but others are entitled to any opinions about his acting, visuals, styles, and whatnot. How is that mean? He is an actor and therefore his looks and acting are subject to not only praises but also criticism. How the heck are brown nosing only allowed in public forum but not criticism??? The fanmeeting poster is so lovely. Total first love vibe. “Hye-piness” is such a cute name for her fan meeting😊 It was a slightly shaky start but ACOM are already doing a better job than Sidus ever did.
Hye Yoon is looking so pretty in the airport pic. Marni is a good brand for her or I think she would look fab in Miu Miu as well. Her fans have been complaining about her co-ordi’s styling recently so it’s good to see her stylist finally made more of an effort here as I think the plain styling has been holding her back a bit in terms of marketability. She was always a pretty girl but she’s lost her baby fat and is so glowing and lovely now and her styling should reflect that.
I’m really looking forward to what’s next for her career wise as she is so talented and Lovely Runner’s success has made her more popular than she’s ever been. Byun Woo Seok has apparently already signed lots of brand deals. I’m looking forward to seeing what CFs and endorsements Hye Yoon will land as she would be a perfect representative for so many products with her bright personality, positive reputation and pure, fresh visuals😊
I think she needs to tweak her hairstyling a little, she’s versatile enough that she suits both bangs (fringe to us) and no-bangs hairstyles and any length but a side part like she had in Lovely Runner, would be more flattering and show off her face more.
I agree that image seems to play a huge role in casting and keeping her too plainly styled isn’t going to help her prospects, I’m pleased to see at least her fashion is getting a bit of polish while still looking flattering (sometimes high fashion clothes are way too ugly and weird but her outfit here is a good one, simple but with some interest thanks to the embroidery detailing)
I hope she gets more good scripts too. This girl can act. And she’s naturally bright in variety shows too. Hope she also gets casted as a regular member.

On top of that she is a great actress who has stellar reputation about her work ethic, is known for her professionalism and her personality being bright, kind, mindful of those around her. If industry has any sense, she’ll get the opportunities she absolutely deserves now. I hope her new company will help her find good projects, grow her base, endorsements etc.
I think her styling did well to capture a bit of a retro feel, like Lovely Runner did but without making her look like she’s still in character from the drama.
(I agree that if the industry had any sense, some top screenwriters would be keeping an eye on her as a candidate for their next dramas, her agency also seems to be trying to step up their game on her styling which is a good thing)

I’m gonna pick up what I left with LR again after ep4. The drama has created so much buzz online and I’m in a mood for romance after watching C drama the Double. LOL. I’m usually not the one for actors whose faces look fishy with plausible PS done. I’m a visual freak – but only freak for natural beauty. LOL. Surely there’s no proof anyway. But PS-ish looks are just not up my alley unless amazing acting offsets that distraction. It’s legit for me to be suspicious of any PS done on BWS. His acting as of 4 eps I’ve watched by far isn’t amazing enough for me to overlook those possible PS jobs on his face. But I’m curious how the media even put him on the same pedestal as Bae Yong Joon et al. LOL. If I drop the drama again, then it’s overhyped for me.
His acting is fine but he’s not outstanding like others actors in their rise-to-fame projects. Even in he looks plastic to you, he is still conventionally attractive. So acting department is not relevant for the media, fans. That’s how looks works lol.
