Okay, I only say randomly because on what planet were these two top actresses friends in real life? I musta missed the memo and definitely did not have this on my lazy summer June bingo. This weekend Korean celeb insta had a lot of buzz thanks to Song Hye Kyo and Suzy posting each other in their respective Instagram accounts showing them hanging out together. Netizens understandably went crazy and I kinda did too because omg they are so gorgeous and adorable together. Ten years ago teen Suzy could totally play teen Song Hye Kyo in a drama, but then again twenty years ago Han Ji Min played teen Song Hye Kyo in All In despite being just a year young lol and that remains so inexplicably Korean logic to me haha. Anyways, these two ladies radiate natural beauty and I also love their continued growth in the acting department in every project.
I didn’t realize they even knew each other outside of the regular sunbae-hoobae sphere. They look really cute and generated so much talk. Honestly I’d never imagined the day will come with I’d be able to say Suzy is even a decent actress. But she’s done way better than that – she’s become really really strong lol. Anna was obviously her breakthrough but she was pretty darn convincing in whatever I saw of Doona too. Really looking forward to her with KWB!
Agreed. Although Suzy has maintained her position as a beloved celebrity for over a decade, Koreans have never sugarcoated their opinions about her acting. But by all accounts, she’s shown tremendous growth since Anna. I remember the days when people thought a Kim Eun Sook drama was out of the realm of possibilities for her, yet here we are today. I’m glad Suzy and Kim Woo Bin’s pairing was given another chance. I always felt they had bigger potential than what was seen in Uncontrollably Fond. It’s also a pleasant surprise to see Suzy’s budding friendship with fellow beauty icon/Hallyu star Song Hye Kyo. They officially met on the set of All The Love You Wish For and have remained in touch following Song Hye Kyo’s cameo.

Both are career driven and both have not been lucky in romance department. They both have much in common…I am glad they have each other’s support. They both look very beautiful together.

You are right to say one does no need romance to be happy…but I do believe anyone that enter into any relationship really have hope they will be happy… Otherwise why bother dating?
As for these 2 beautiful actress…They found they love acting and they both are supporting each other in this friendship. In this era, I do feel anyone who chooses to be single, they can still be happy. I have a few good friends who dont date but are happy being single and wealthy.

Shk does this for her projects. Latches on to her costars for promos. Did the same for hsh when price of confession was supposed to happen. After it fell through, crickets from shk side. Lol.
Song Hye Kyo agreed to play cameo role in Suzy upcoming drama written by famous writer KES. Since then they have known each other. SHK seemed to have good relationships with actresses who she acted together. For example, she been in good term with both actresses from the drama: NWBK, ( they celebrated her birthday together just recently)..
Their friendship it’s not that surprising to me actually thought I still wonder were they first met, I think at a award show from last year. SHK is really close with many actresse/models both from her generation and younger, seems like she easy to get along with, she’s best friends with actress Song Yoon-ah, Kim Hee-sun and Parr Sol-mi since the late 90’s/early 2000’s, she also used to hang out with Choi Ji-woo, Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Na-young back in their Hallyu 2000’s days, don’t know if they still do, but GHJ show her some love when she gave SHK the Best Actress award for The Glory last year and both still are friends with Yoo Ah-in despite his legal/personal problems. SHK also gets along really well with a lot younger actors and her staff of many years from what I’ve seen, openly talking and joking with them comfortably, they seem to both respect and just like her personality which she clearly only shows to close friends or certain spaces she feels confortable and not to the media who often portayed her as an ice queen, which is annoying, as if she needs to be smilin/acting cute in front of the cameras like she was idol, some people are just more reserved.
Nice to see beautiful women get along and actually become friends. The opposite usually happened because of jealousy, rivalry, and insecurity. LOL.
