This drama was initially announced in 2023 by Tencent but didn’t coalesce into filming stage at that time. The female lead Tencent was interested in was Zhao Lu Si but we all know she’s been filming nonstop for three years now in dramas so her scheduled is packed. Tencent is reportedly ready to film the drama titled Wrong World (ιδΈ or Mistaken Era) in early 2025 and is back in serious talks with Zhao Lu Si. If she accepts she will roll from her currently filming modern drama Almost Lover with Peng Guan Yin into this drama. Let’s wait and see.

This is what koala wanted, most of the known actors get casted back to back, which makes them all overworked, clearly some of these rumours r not true, just for clicks.
Honestly…China is so big. But we only see the same few pool of artistes in dramas…this has to change. Otherwise this industry will just get so stagnant.
There are other actors and actresses, but it’s either their dramas didn’t gain international interest, or worse even the local audience aren’t interested in their dramas. I blame it on the lack of good scripts and production.
Just look at the dramas that get posted/highlighted here, most of them are helmed by liuliang actors or actresses. We don’t see dramas like Day And Night get mentioned by Koala.
That is true… I do watch some of the drama that do not have liuliangs… but with good veteran artistes. Those have their charm..
The dramas I really dont enjoy are some of dramas with unknowns or some rich kids… those I could not stomach.
Day and Night is a good drama, I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to season 2…

I like Na Yeong-seok variety shows thus I mostly watch his productions and YT Channel Fullmoon.
A lot of potentially talented actors and actresses get the gates shut at them by those dramas producers and those traffic actors’ and actresses’ backers and then end up the mini/micro dramas industry -see the case of the actress ZhongXi who studied acting in Korea that is now evolving in the vertical sector.

Boo! I want her to pick Malicious Empress of Military Lineage. That one would challenge her and since she has been doing something different each drama the last few years, portraying the Malicious Empress would be a treat to watch.
She is already getting hate for her rumored casting involvement, she can do without this. The production team needs to pick an unknown actors for these because of high expectations for the lead characters.
Sigh. I still wish for it. Itβs a great novel. The βotherβ party, much as I wish for it, could say no π and the producers could find someone like WXY for the role. Boo. Iβm putting that into the universe. π

I do love zhao lusi drama only,I didn’t any watch c drama except the drama of lusi,since I know her in 2018,if she is no new drama I rather watch kdrama or carton rather to watch other c drama I’m not interested any Chinese actress rather than her,even though my friend pls watch this new drama Chinese they are good,so when I start watching just only 1 episode I drop in quite,they never entertain me,I don’t know why maybe that’s because this is the impact of Zhao lusi to my Heart that I’m being selfish to others drama, because she the one who captured my heart that even the actress in my country Which is the Philippines they never captured my heart I watch there drama but not like this Chinese actress Zhao lusi that I love her I like her adore her I download others apps just because of her,so maybe I cannot blame the producer that they want to give again script to Zhao lusi for so many veterans c actress out there,I’m really happy if zhao lusi will take this role script again,I don’t care who’s her male lead as long as the heroin is Zhao lusi,it’s fine with me I support her, keep shining more and more lusi flying high and higher between the earth and beyond the galaxy.πππππ―π΅ππΈπ¦
