I don’t know which insano in the casting department for period C-drama Love Travels Through Time thought it a good idea to pair up Liu Xue Yi with underaged rising actress Ai Mi, but it did make for fun times with a rare moment of collective online cringe and howls of ewwwww. There was an attempt to keep one of the two and swap out the other, in both ways, but in the end there are two new stars cast as the final choice. Li Hong Yi and Yang Yu Tong will be playing the leads and filming starts at the end of March this month. This I can get behind, and with less scrutiny or a sky high budget, there is less hype and more room to surprise viewers.
