Park Shin Hye and Go Kyung Pyo Cast in Upcoming Comedic Office tvN K-drama Miss Undercover Boss
A new K-drama got the main cast finalized this week and it a reunion from a long time ago. Park Shin Hye and Go Kyung Pyo will be the leads in tvN drama Miss Undercover Boss airing on tvN. It’s a comedic drama set in the late 1990’s during the IMF crisis, the female lead is a top managerial employee who uses her youthful looks to go undercover and investigate a suspicious funds flow scandal during the period of the IMF crisis in South Korea. The male lead is a corporate raider with high ambition who becomes the new head of that company. The drama will reunite these two stars from over a decade ago when they worked together in the adorable Flower Boy Next Door. The drama is from the PD of Suspicious Couple and A Business Proposal with the writer of Memorials (Into the Ring).
Never thought they would be leads together in the same drama. Hope it works out.
Sorry to say but GKP game play has been average lately. From acting and visual
He is still handsome to me, but acting yeah agree not that good
This.
I’m glad they’re having a reunion and I like the work the pd and writer have done. Park Shin-hye had a great turning point with Judge from Hell – with an energy and charisma that never quite showed before, even though I have a lot of affection for her. I hope this role continues that same energy. I also have affection for Go Kyung-pyo but he has been floundering. I feel like he would be more suited for one of those weekend family dramas. I hope this drama goes well for him too.
I lost interest in Park Shin Hye in Dr. Slump, the character annoyed me and to me she over-acted. Not sure if I will watch this one.
hmmm this could be tricky. Park Shin Hye is a talented and beloved actress, and with a co-lead that she has chemistry with, can make a drama a huge hit. Go Kyung Pyo on the other hand…. has been sending out duds. I’m not sure if it’s because his acting has become lackluster, or he just has a knack of picking horrible projects (Frankly Speaking was only tolerable due to Kang Han Na’s effor, but the script definitely did not help)
