C-netizens Criticize Li Yi Tong’s Outfits and Hairstyles in Her Currently Filming C-drama The Vanishing Beauty as Copying Zhao Lu Si in Love’s Ambition
I think this is either a case of the same coordi or just coincidence of similar recent fashion trends in same themed dramas. C-actress Li Yi Tong is currently filming the modern workplace romance and empowerment C-drama The Vanishing Beauty and the pictures from the set have been pounced on by C-netizens as a source of criticism. The complaint is that her outfits and hair are strikingly similar to various Zhao Lu Si looks in her airing C-drama Love’s Ambition, which is doing quite well for Tencent including compliments on Zhao Lu Si’s whole package visuals in the drama. Put side by side the outfits selected are very similar, but then it’s a whole ass drama and I’m sure there are more outfits that are different. With that said, copying is indeed a form of compliment if the wardrobe department in The Vanishing Beauty did use Lu Si in LA as inspiration.

Such basic outfits…honestly..even I wear them.
Love’s Ambition’s FL had so many eye-catching outfits and they picked on the specific outfits that half your office workers who work in creative industries would wear.
For real though, why blame the actress alone? And so true office wear is almost always similar. There are slight differences though but still whoever was in charge of her wardrobe should be to blame. Cnetizens and their gripes astound me like most of the time much ado about nothing.
I can see where they are coming from. Love’s Ambition was filmed quite a while ago so similar recent fashion trends isn’t that convincing, and I heard ZLS coordinated her own outfits for the drama, so it shouldn’t be same coordi either. There’s still some difference to the outfits and accessories used though, I don’t think it’s worth making a fuss over it. If I am ZLS or her fan, I’ll feel proud that someone is copying my looks.
That is true…to be able to inspire others to her dressing style, it is a good thing.
Let her be. I mean, Zhao Lusi’s new drama is popular right now, and her outfits are such a hot topic. Most of the girls are trying to copy her style lately, and from what I know, she’s the one who coordinates her own wardrobe!
That’s honestly a huge compliment to Zhao Lusi herself.
Crazy Zls fans melting down again over nothing.
Apart from the first which is just so common an office wear all over the globe, Hollywood, Bollywood, kdrama and so,
koala which other? You seem to just want to show lusi in her LA styles.
I mean even though she has worn similar styles to other actresses no?
She is one name that practicaly begs to be attached to everything.
Let go, the world isn’t about her.
And oh I see.
This isn’t bullying right?
So now everyone needs to check with their cordi to ensure they are not copying lusi.
Similarities are bound to happen why take it out on the actress and not the designer.
Time indeed reveals.
Lusi’s cult-like followers act as if they have the right to bully everyone else, yet no one is allowed to criticize her because she’s portrayed as a “pitiful soul,” supposedly tormented by her agency. Before renewing her contract, she never remembered being mistreated, but suddenly after falling ill, she conveniently remembered being “bullied” and “harassed”by her so called ruthless agency. Now she plays the victim to gain public sympathy. Honestly, ZLS fans are unbelievably biased, delusional, and completely blind. Period.
Give it a rest, koala is just reporting the gist or news or whatnot. No need to take it out on her. She clearly likes ZLS, not a crime.
Most toxic fanbase ever. Once ZLS retired, all industry celebrating. Their fanbase can also f.off
One goes, another rises…there will always be someone that many dislike. Today is Jane, tomorrow is Janet.
That is true…to be able to inspire others to her dressing style, it is a good thing.
Is it C-netizens or ZLS fans that are criticizing? Pretty sure most drama watchers don’t care about similar outfits for a drama that probably won’t air for another year.
