C-drama Love’s Ambition Accused by Netizens of Copying Dialogue and Scenes from Multiple Dramas and Movie
It’s the final few episodes for Love’s Ambition and right on cue for a drama that’s gotten a lot of buzz both good and bad there is a final scandal of sorts. C-netizens have dug into the vaults and pulled up receipts alleging LA of plagiarizing or copying from prior works. There are whole scenes and/or dialogues that are near identical to TW drama The World Between Us, K-drama Anna, and Chinese movie Raise the Red Lantern. Fans of the drama counter that a drama about a female lead concealing her real identity like in Anna is bound to have similar set ups, and for the others its just a coincidence and not a big deal since the main theme of LA is female growth and empowerment through self-realization and is totally different than the other works. LA is so close to ending this little kerfluffle won’t impact it’s views but certainly adds another talking point to the drama discussion.

Truth hurts though. ZLS fans need to accept the plagiarism issue. From bloggers’ artwork to this. The entire industry will start celebrating when she retires
Was ZLS involved in a producing capacity in the making of this drama, apart from her acting role? Otherwise, how can artwork and script plagiarism accusations be laid at her feet?
She’s not the director or the producer, why are you making ZLS shoulder it?
Entire industry? Well… I for one will mourn if she retires. LA is the only c drama I was even tempted to watch this year, and it didn’t disappoint.
You may be rightful about her fanbase (some of them at least) BUT ZLS didnt write the script or produce the script… blindly putting this matter on her name is just stupid.
Tbh other than the food menu, the rest of the accusations seem like a stretch. The other dialogues are either not the exact same or from different mediums.
I am sure there are other dramas with some similarities..

Not really the actors’ fault unless they were rewriting the script for the writer and inserting plagiarized bits.
Do that many people in China care? People still loving Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms even though the writer did get called out.
No, they don’t. It is crazy to me but they steal from other shows on the regular and nobody cares. One of the reason popular actors don’t like leaks is because their scenes get copied in other dramas filming at the same time, that can air first so then they have to delete theirs. China is messy.

The only thing the FL really lied about was her parents and sister. She never pretended to come from a rich background. That one lie was a catalyst for a lot. There is very little similarity between those two dramas and Love’s Ambition.
