Kim Ji Won Debuts Short Uneven New Haircut at SBS 2025 Year End Drama Awards Alongside Release of First Teaser for Her Medical Drama Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia
With the arrival of 2026 I hope real life is filled with positivity and drama world drops mostly good dramas. One of the more high profile K-dramas is the SBS medical series Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia with Kim Ji Won as a remake of the same name older J-dorama. She attended the year end SBS drama awards this week debuting a blunt uneven shoulder length cut that she is sporting for her character in Doctor X as seen in the just released first teaser preview. This is a great project for Kim Ji Won as she suits that tough oddball type character very well.

I haven’t watch the original jdrama but seeing kim jiwon in this outfit, she looks really cool and charismatic

I will check this out, but tbh KJW doesn’t have the same charisma as Ryoko imo. She looks bored/tired in the trailer to me. But ofc there is a possibility of her creating a different version of the character successfully.

She has a good eye for scripts so u hope this drama is good even if Korean remakes of popular jdramas rarely turn out well
I loved her in DOTS and FFMY, but found her completely meh in Lovestruck in the City and QOT. I hope I’m able to enjoy watching her again in this new drama.
