Jung Hae In and Shin Se Kyung in Talks for Romance K-drama Love Virus — 8 Comments

    • Me too! and I’ve tried several of her dramas since she plays with most of the ML I like. Captivating The King was the one I got the furthest yet still didn’t finish.

    • Yeah, same. I don’t even think that she’s the worst actress out there. There are definitely actresses who are objectively worse than her, but at least some of those actresses have some sort of charm onscreen that makes them watchable. The problem with SSK is that she’s just so boring and charmless onscreen. I’m not being jealous or anything, I actually find her to be such a pretty woman, but the watchability is just not there…

  1. So I’m not trying to be mean or anything just a question. Wasn’t Jung hae in reported to be close friends with Kim soo hyun? Before the whole revelation that he is a pedo? So since that revelation I’ve always wondered if he actually knew absolutely nothing of KSH’s horrible doings. If they really were close, he must have known right?

    • As far as I know, he still follows KSH in Instagram. That alone makes me side-eye JHI. And personally, although I’m not accusing him of anything bad, I’ve always felt icky about his soft-boy, always-smiling persona, just feels too fake for me personally. Again, not accusing the guy of anything, and his fans are free to support him, but his vibes are just off to me so I avoid his dramas

  2. JHI impressed me a lot in the prestigious drama, D.P, not so much in any of his previous romance works. lol. I’ll keep checking him out until I see another outstanding performance. The PD was masterful in elevating MLN from a mundane slice-of-life snoozefest into a profound and haunting masterpiece I highly recommend MLN to anyone seeking a profound experience that goes beyond mere entertainment.

I’m indifferent to SSK. Her acting style isn’t my cup of tea. But she did a solid job in Arthdal Chronicles II that I enjoyed a lot.

  3. Cautious about anticipating this given that there is no information about the drama except it may be a romance, given the title. Is it a slice of life, rom-com, or maybe even sci-fi thriller? I like both actors, though I do find SSK does much better in slice-of-life.
