Li Xian and Zhang Jing Yi Confirmed for Modern Romance C-drama A Touch of Green

I’m not sure how this pairing would work onscreen but it’s definitely not an idol casting. iQiyi has a new drama that just confirmed the leads and will start filming next week at the end of April. It’s called A Touch of Green (雾里青 Wu Li Qing) and stars Li Xian withZhang Jing Yi. The female lead has been in love with the second male lead and the male lead is his older brother that she thinks never even liked her as a person. But of course he’s been into her this whole time and makes his move when the younger brother fritters away his chance. Li Xian and Zhang Jing Yi give off such similar onscreen auras, mature and calm that I hope their pairing won’t veer into boring, but if the story has sizzling elements they could do that repressed/unexpected love thing really well.

Ooh very unfortunate. I actually really like Li Xian, but he does need more bubbly costars and Zhang Jing Yi is extremely dry and bland.

Man why do people find two brothers in love with the same woman plot interesting. I always find that so weird bec now you are gonna see this lady as your sister in law for the rest of your life and everyone in the family is fine with this dynamic??? What about holidays or other events??

    In the novel, it’s really 2 brothers in love with one girl, lol. At first, the younger brother was scared of commitment (him and FL were seen as a couple by their families and friends but in actuality they never crossed that line although FL did like him), but once the FL decided to move on, he decided he’a in love with her and tried to woo her back. Male lead, who’s the older brother, has been in love with her since she was 20 yrs old, but tried to hide it because of the younger brother/family.
