Oh what a difference a day makes lol! Yesterday C-ent was buzzing that Zhang Ling He was now elevated to international level with a nomination for Best Actor at the 2026 Seoul International Drama Awards for his role in Pursuit of Jade. Now the official awards organization has come out in a released statement that the nominations for any award is not yet released, and what has been circulating is merely a list of “submissions” for consideration for a nomination. Yikes, a bit of egg on face for Zhang Ling He’s side to jump the gun here. Not sure if it was a misunderstanding on the part of his agency or his fandom to tout this nomination before he’s actually nominated, and again he could be nominated in the end but right now this has turned out to be not true at this time. Oh wells, more publicity for him and for the drama.
