Godfrey Gao’s Girlfriend Bella Posts Remembrance Tribute to the Deceased Star on What Would Have Been his 36th Birthday
Lest we become numb from so many celebrity passings in 2020, think back to how awful 2019 was as well and there was no COVID-19 back then. One of the deaths was the wholly accidental and medically brought on passing of model-actor Godfrey Gao from full cardiac arrest after intense physical activity for a prolonged period of time filming a C-variety show. This November 2020 would be the one year anniversary of his passing so it hasn’t even been a full year yet, but today September 22nd is his birthday and he would have turned 36 years old. He wasn’t married yet when he passed but he did have a long term serious girlfriend Bella who posted a tribute to Godfrey today, calling him the brightest star in her universe. He certainly is shining down on us as we remember him perfect in his prime and gone too soon.

Not even sure what to say but this is still shocking to me a year later. Whenever he is, I hope he know he’s really loved.
I remember reading somewhere that a close friend of Godfrey’s said he was planning to propose to Bella. If only he hadn’t been invited to that Chinese variety show…
I still can’t believe that he is gone. I’m wondering what happened to the case. Did they apologize to his family? Hopefully his family are doing ok – especially his mom.
