I always equate the South Korean government good taxpayer awards like when the school hands out perfect attendance prizes and this year 2022’s recipient are clearly a very good boy and girl when it comes to paying their taxes. Lee Seung Gi and Jo Boa are among the around 1000 citizens noted for their good taxpaying habits, and 22 of the top taxpayers got an actual Presidential Commendation complete with certificate. Nice! And since Lee Seung Gi and Jo Boa are celebrities they have been selected as the Promotional Ambassadors for the National Tax Agency for this year and it’s a role playing in previous years by other also good tax paying stars. Congrats to these two and once a year it’s actually doing a solid to remind people “pay your taxes correctly people!”.
