Fans of K-dramas must recognize these two on sight but I’m ashamed to admit, myself included, that most don’t know their names. We do now! K-netizens are chattering about the recent discovery that supporting leads Lee Bong Ryun and Lee Gyu Hoe are married in real life. Lee Bong Ryun is most recently in Crash Course in Romance as the BFF and was also memorable in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Run On, and made her drama debut years ago as the chain smoking trash talking chick in Answer Me 1994. Lee Kyu Hoe is a more recent arrival and maybe took up acting after being influenced by his wifey who knows, but I was absolutely floored by his bone chilling performance in Beyond Evil and most recently he was the male lead’s dad in Reborn Rich in his first life. I love when talented but often overlooked supporting stars get their due spotlight and name call out.

Dope!
My favorite supporting actress. She’s the best of the best. There’s something very natural about her acting. Unlike some overbearing ones that over exaggerates.
Yessss, she is one of my favorites too. I only wish she wasn’t typecasted as the supporting character type, because she has the chops to be a main character. I’d love to see her get a full fledged storyline some day!
I was confused by the “influenced by the wifey” comment. They were married before he became an actor, and it is only now being made public?
His debut as an actor was in 1985.
This was well-known since his impressive drama debut in “Beyond Evil.” They met while part of theater acting troupe. He’s been an actor for a long time.
She has been acting for a long time. I recall seeing her as Kim Sun Ah bestie in City Hall.
